I literally can't believe that It's finally summer! Okay, so I feel SUPER bad for not uploading a chapter for SO long, but I've been sooooo busy lately with everything, and that's not just an excuse this time! But, I wanted to atleast post one summer chapter, so here is, DIY Summer Snack Recipes!
Also, not to bore you, but I was thinking about making a youtube channel with mainly all of the stuff that I post on wattpad, but with more of a visual. Like and comment on this if you would watch and/or subscribe to my youtube channel.
Food:
So a common fact about girls is that we love our food. Here are three quick DIY recipes for some summer snacks.
Gummy Bear Popsicles:
You will need: Popsicle molds,
Popsicle sticks,
Gummy bears (duh),
and Sprite or Sierra Mist.
Fill your molds with your Sprite about 3/4 of the way, and then drop in your Gummy Bears.
Put your popsicle stick in the top.
Now put them into the freezer, and you're done!
Enjoy!Hamburger Treats (From Bethany Mota):
You will need: Nilla Waffers,
Red Frosting,
Yellow Frosting,
Grasshopper Cookies,
Green Food Coloring mixed with Coconut shreds,
Black Icing.
Alright, so first, take one Nilla Waffer and lay it down to where the flat side is facing up. Then, take a little bit of red icing and just dot it on the Waffer. Next, lay your chocolate Grasshopper cookie down of the Waffer, and then top it of with little lines of red and yellow frosting, like ketchup and mustard. Now, you'll want to take your coconut shreds and add a few drops of green food coloring to make it look like lettuce. Lay the "lettuce" ontop of the mustard and ketchup and add another Nilla Waffer on top of all that. To make it look like sesame seeds, add little tiny dots of the black icing on the top of the Nilla Waffer to top off the whole treat! Enjoy!
Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas:
Chocolate chips or a chocolate bar
Banana or Bananas (Depends on how much banana you want)
Toothpicks
Sprinkles or fun toppings
First, break up the chocolate bar or just put your chocolate chips in a bowl. Heat it up until it is completely melted. While it is in the microwave or before it goes in the microwave, cut up your banana into medium sized chunks. You will want to already have th banana cut up when the chocolate is melted, so make sure of that! Now dip your bananas into the chocolate, and use your toothpicks to punture the top of the banana and dip it into the chocolate. This is the time to add your fun topping like sprinkles, or coconut, or really whatever you want. Now, put it into the freezer and there you go, Frozen Chocolate Covered Bananas!
Enjoy all of your treats!
