Hey everyone! How many of you have acne or bad skin? A few weeks ago I would've had my hand held high and swinging in the air. My face used to be broken out, not to the point where I'd have to take pills or anything, but it wasn't what I wanted my skin to look like. Now, before you read this chapter, I need you guys to realize one thing... That getting on the road to clear skin is for YOU and only you. If you are looking to impress someone with your skin, than trust me, you're going to end up failing miserably. My skin has cleared up dramatically since I started using these tips, so I wanted to help some fellow girls out. Now, grab your face wash and let's get into it!

Alright so, instead of my normal step one and step two, I'm just going to write out what I do to clear my face and what products I use and recommend.

Okay, so you're going to want to figure out what type of skin you have, oily or dry. I would go to my dermatologist to ask, but if you absolutely know than go ahead and start buying. My face personally is oily, so I've used washes for oily skin. If you have dry skin and you use face wash for oily skin, your face will look like a bumpy tomato. MAKE SURE you figure out your skin.

Now, I wash my face two times a day. It seems like a large amount, but trust me it's not. Just in the morning when you're getting ready for the day, and at night when you're getting ready to go to bed (I do it in the shower at night). To wash my face I use:

Oil-Free Acne Wash by Neutrogena.

The Olay Professional Scrub Brush (I think that's what it's called, it's just a brush that spins so it can get deeper into the skin)

And after I wash it with the two, I use the dual-treatment moisturizer by up & up (target brand) I ONLY USE THE MOISTURIZER IN THE MORNING and let that dry on my face

So another tip I know is to splash your face with cold water to rinse out the dirt and dust caught in your pores

So another tip I know is to splash your face with cold water to rinse out the dirt and dust caught in your pores. I wash my face with cold water, which isn't the most pleasant I know, but it does help. As we're on the topic of water, make sure to drink a lot. I say this almost every chapter, but I'm serious, water helps with absolutely everything!

Stay away from junk food (dun dun dunnnnnnn). This is the hardest one by far, but eating junk food is going to make your skin a lot worst.

Minimize makeup! If you do use a lot of makeup, you have to remember to wash your face throughly afterwards or else this will clog your pores more than anything else! Wash off makeup and minimize the amount!

Lastly, exercise frequently, meditate, don't get too stressed. I know with school work, tests, extra curricular activities, and so forth it's harder to not be stressed than it is to be stressed. Just relax, take a day for yourself, and don't be too stressed on good grades and making good impressions.

Overall, wash your face and be healthy, that's all there is to it. I am now able to wear only eye makeup or just a little concealer because I've taken good care for my face. I've made the decision to have a clear complexion, will you?
