i sit up and feel my heart racing in my chest as i see people dancing and screaming in front of me. where are my friends? where is toge?

i take a look back and forth and then i see toge pushing through the crowd. i take a deep sigh of relief as he sits beside me on the couch. he hands me a water bottle.

"salmon," he says while pushing the water bottle closer to me.

i nod and take a few sips, looking around.

i find my phone sitting in my pocket and read that it's 3:05 in the morning. how is everybody still partying?

i yawn as i lean my head on toges shoulder.

"tuna tuna!" he points to the basement door. i lift my head and nod, standing up as my legs wobble.

he walks me over to the basement and peaks his head inside.

"helloooo?" i yell down the stairs. there's no response.

he brings me down the stairs of the basement and i close the door behind me. i look around to see if anyones down here but nobody is.

he whispers to me, "do you want to go back to the dorms?"

"naughty toge!" i respond, still a bit drunk.

"nono- i meant-"

"i want to partyyy," i say.

he facepalms, "i think we should head back."

"mm but toge!!" i wrap my arms around his neck weakly and look into his eyes.

he tilts his head.

i take one of my hands and trace the markings on his face.

"what're you doing?" he whispers.

"admiring you of course! you're just so aghh~ you know?" i tell him.

"agh?"

i nod, "in a very good way. like you're so aghhh."

i see a small smile appear on his lips. "awww," i say while continuing to trace his markings.

he turns his head away from me, "y/n... we should go back home."

"but i wanna stay here and cuddle with you!" i nuzzle into his chest.

he stays quiet for a moment.

"nope, we're going back home," he responds, pulling me back up the stairs.

i trip and fall on to the steps.

"owww," i say while giggling.

toge helps me back up, walking me to the main floor.

the party was still going strong, although quite a lot of people left.

as we're leaving i hear a voice yelling mine and toges names.

"y/n! toge! where are you guys going!" yuji yells.

we walk over to him and see him with megumi.

"megumi!!" i say, putting my hand up for a high five.

he stares at it and then lifts his hand to high five me.

"hell yeah y/n, you're still wasted!" yuji yells.

i accidentally let go of toge and fall into yuji, laughing at the dizziness.

"aww you're so warm," yuji says, wrapping his arms around me.

i try to back away from him, reaching my arm out for toge.

"jesus y/n, you're really out of it, huh?" megumi says, a drink still in his hand.
