𝗔𝘃𝗮'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

"Roma!" I hear Monroe hiss.

I jump to my feet just as Bellamy approaches me and I give him a sad smile.

"I was too late" I tell him.

"They're playing with us" Finn whisper shouts.

"She only came because of me" Bellamy mumbles with a sad look on his face.

"It's not your fault, Bell" I assure the man.

"They can kill us whenever they want" Finn adds.

"Then they should get it over with!" Jasper screams loudly and my eyes widen "Come on!"

"What the hell are you doing?!" I shriek as Finn runs at him.

"We know you're out there!" Jasper yells.

Bellamy and I run towards them to calm him down but I catch a grounder running at us.

"Bellamy!" Monroe shouts.

I look around us to see there is more than one grounder. All of them coming from different directions.

Suddenly I hear the loud horn that was blown before the acid fog that killed Atom and I turn to the group.

"They're leaving" Bellamy states.

"That horn. What does it mean?" Jasper asks.

"Acid fog" Finn answers pulling out a cover.

"We have to run" Monroe says.

"There's no time" Finn replies.

Finn pulls the cover over the five of us and we lay down, completely still. I lay squished in between Jasper and Finn, wondering why the hell we aren't dead yet and Jasper speaks up.

"How long are we supposed to wait?" He asks.

"Will this even work?" Monroe then asks.

"Probably not" I mumble and Finn elbows me, giving me a dirty look.

"We'll find out" He states and I roll my eyes.

"No, we won't" Bellamy argues and pops his head out the cover.

"There's no fog" He tells us and we all come out too.

"Maybe it was a false alarm?" Finn suggests and I pull myself up, dusting myself off.

"They're coming back" Bellamy speaks up and I look over to see a grounder running through the woods.
