chapter 7

*Robin pov*

I continued to lean my head on wallys shoulder calmly watching the waves go out towards the setting horizon.

"Hey we should probably go get ready," wally said kissing my head. I agreed and we slowly got up. I placed a quick kiss on his lips and we walked back inside. As soon as we entered my pink haired friend came zooming up to us.

"Friend Robin are you feeling the better?" She asked me.

"Yes star" I said and she smiled happily.

"Oh that is the wonderful!. Are you still going to see the batman tonight?" I told her yes and she continued rambling.

"Star thank you for checking up on me but I need to get ready," I politely moved her and wally waved before walking into my bedroom.

"I'm going to rush home and get changed" wally told me before rushing off.

"OK wa-" the redhead arrived back infront of me wearing a white button down shirt and black pants.

"What we are seeing batman. I need to look good" he said plainly and it caused me to laugh. "Well are you going to change boy wonder?" Wally asked flopping down on my bed.

I went to my closet and grabbed out a black suit and a black button down. (Similar to what dick wore in titans) I showed wally and a smile spread across his face as if he got attacked from the jokers smile gas.

"That looks amazing dick" he said applauding me. I twirled around and than I went and got changed. I chucked on my sunglasses because the team still is unaware of my identity and we walked out. I climbed onto wallys back and we sped off to wayne manor. We stopped infront of the gate to the manor and I placed I typed in the pass code and we walked inside. We were greeted by Alfred.

"OH master Dick it is terrific to see you," he said placing his hand out. I hugged him and he hugged back. I knew wally was standing there bored so I let go of my grandfather figure and Alfred noticed wally. "Mister Wallace it is good to see you too. Are you and master dick dating?" He asked and before I could answer Bruce walked in. He was wearing a black turtle neck and a tight black blazer.

"Hello dick it is good to see you, you aswell wally," Bruce said smiling and embracing both wally and I in a hug. Suddenly a young boy about a year younger than me walked down the stairs. He had a strong jawline and he had a white streak in his hair. We made eye contact and he turnt to Bruce.

"Bruce who is this?" The boy asked.

"Oh Jason this is dick, dick this is Jason. He is the new robin" wally leant jnto my ear.

"AWAKARRD" he said and leant back. I was furious he replaced me so quickly. I mean j was still Robin.

"How long did it take for you to replace Me?" I asked Bruce pointing at Jason who had his arms crossed.

"Dick I didn't replace you. I just beeded some more help since you had left to jump city" I couldn't believe him. I have done so much for him and than he did this. I was ready to storm out and than I remembered why I was there. I was there for wally.  I breathed in.

*wallys pov*

Damm Bruce that was harsh even for you. It was really awkward and I just looked at dick who had gone red from frustration.

"Um so I am dicks boyfriend" I said to break the tension. Bruce looked up at me.

"Really?" The dark knight asked and I nodded. Dick turnt to me and sighed. "Dick is this true?" He asked and dick nodded. "Really after everything he has put you through you are willing to date him" he continued asking dick ignoring the fact that I could hear him.

"Yes bruce" dick said coldly. Bruce started striding towards me.

"Wally I don't like you but if you do anything to hurt dick ever again I will kill you. Even if it hurts your uncle barrys heart" Bruce said.  Obviously he was in a bad mood. Alfred said dinner was ready and we all made our way to the dining room. I sat beside dick on the right side of the large table. Jason sat opposite of dick and Alfred walked in 4 plates of spaghetti. I ate like a normal human being and I noticed dick wasn't touching his food.

"Pssst dick are you okay?" I whispered to him and he nodded and glared at Jason who was sipping his drink.

"So Jason," dick asked through gritted teeth, "how did you meet Bruce?" Jason almost chocked.

"I met batman because I tried to steal the wheels off of the batmobile and bruce adopted me" he said and dick nodded and took a bit of his pasta.

"So dick how is the titans going?" Bruce asked dick which distracted him from his glare session with Jason.

"It's going good. Fighting crime the usual," he said and I interjected.

"You also won crime season again," I said and dick turnt to me.

"Oh yeah I did, didn't I" he boasted qnd Bruce clapped.

"Bravo, you have the longest streak since,well ever" he said and Dick just continued to glare at the new robin. An awkward but stressful silence floated around the large room and than Alfred walked in like the saviour he is.

"Is everyone done I made dessert" he said collecting our plates.

"What is it I asked him as he grabbed my plate.

"Apple pie and vanilla icecream" he whispered and I smiled. He brought out our desserts and as usual they tasted phenomenal.

"Thank you Alfred" we all said and theold man smiled. Dick had finally gave up on his glare fest and started eating. By the end of dinner he and Jason were having normal conversations about how good the robin costume makes them look. We said our goodbyes and left. As soon as we got out the door we squealed.

"That was something," dick chucled and I agreed.

"Atleast Bruce didn't kill me" I said and than we left.
