Epilogue

*robins pov*

Its been three years since I started going out with Wally West. We are still full time teen titans me being on the the teen titans and Wally on titans east. Wally has grown in maturity. we have had conversations about me becoming nightwing but that was 6 months ago. Now its September and I'm still robin. Jason died a month ago and we went to the funeral yesterday. Wally introduced me to his cousin impulse and his uncle Barry.  His family were really supportive of us especially his Aunt iris. Bruce hasn't been holding up well. he has been staying in the batman suit and taking his anger out on the criminals. I went to visit him in Gotham and when I found him he was beating the life out of the Riddler. Wally has been staying at the tower to "help me cope" but if we are being honest he just wants cuddles. I looked down at the red head snoring  into his blanket. I love that boy so much. I stroked his ginger locks out of his eyes and his bright green eyes opened and he let out a large yawn.  "morning walls" I whispered kissing his forehead.

"Morning dick," he replied sitting up. "How are you feeling today?" He asked resting his head on my shoulder.

"I think I am going to resign from being Robin today" I stated. I had been going over it and I came to realise that I need to not be batman's sidekick any more.

"You will still be my little Robin" he said kissing my lips. His lips had a soft but tender texture. I pulled back and than wally did his usual I'm hungry which stills and always will make me laugh. I got up and placed my domino mask onto my face. I take a deep breath and I call a team meeting.

"Friend Robin, why do you wake us at this time?" My pink haired friend asked rubbing her eyes.

"Guys I am resigning from being robin" An echo of "WHATS!" were thrown at me and I looked down grimacly.

"Why robin?" Beastboy asked tears forming.

"I need to get out of batman's shadow," I told them tears forming under my mask.

"Can you tell us who you are atleast" beastboy asked. I sighed and agreed.

"I will as long as you don't tell anyone," i told them and slowly removed my mask. "I'm Richard grayson, im-"

"YOU'RE BRUCE WAYNES WARD!" Cyborg exclaimed.

"Wait.... so is... no he can't be" beastboy kept saying.

"Yes beastboy Bruce wayne is batman" I told him and the green skinned boy fainted.

"So Richard what will you do once you leave?" Raven asked me.

"I am becoming someone called nightwing"

"Will kidflash be joining you?" Star asked and I looked over at wally who smiled at me.

"Yeah he will," and I grabbed his hand.

"Who will lead us Than?" Beastboy asked sobbing.

"Cyborg will" I said and the robot hugged me tightly.

"We so sorry for how we treated you, we never meant to hurt your feelings," Cyborg said and I nodded acknowledging his apology. 

*wallys pov*

I'm proud of my little Robin. I watched him as he hugged his goodbyes to the titans and we head off to my house. We laid together Richard curled into my chest his eyes closed and his chest rising up and down in peace. I smiled at him and it reminded me all of this happened because of a kiss we shared when I was 14. I love what happened to us. I love me and my robin. I closed my eyes and pulled Dick into my chest. (That sounded really wrong) I quickly fell asleep.
