-HIATUS FOR INDEFINITE TIME-

Somewhen in the past.

Not one person can master the art of detachment. Not completely, at best.

If someone was able to make a living without being strangled with anything else, they would be too dead or too insane in their mind.

Yae Miko also considered herself as an attached person. Not in a superflous way, of course. She can't imagine living her lengthy live span without the things she hold dear, but her feeling of needs are not of high urgency. Take the Yae Publishing House, as example.

She couldn't imagine if the idea of making a publishing house was not to be found. Her days of living amongst the humans would feel so insipid, without her writing hobby and creating literatures that could touch people's interest. Though, she knew that she would be able to survive until this very day without the publishing house, but her condition would have been a different one without her side hustle as an editor.

And as a youkai, she is also attached to the magic of kitsune. This one is probably a deeper attachment because without her powers, Yae Miko might already cease from existance. Thus, she trained herself on regular schedule to hone her abilities, even when she wished never to use her powers to harm a soul. The power she absorbed from Ley Lines also strengthen her powers, which made her attached to the Sacred Sakura tree as a youkai, and as the Head Shrine Maiden too.

She felt grateful, that she has not been attached to anything that could make her felt resentful. For example, humans.

Yae Miko has never needed humans to help her in a pressing urgency before, and she will never feel that way. They have not a thing that she cannot do, and they have every disadvantage to cling for.

...Or so she thought.

Until that day, when the leader of Kamisato Clan is kneeling down with head down on the floor, appealing for his negligence. Under his supervision, three of five Raiden Gokagen, the schools of Inazuma's weaponsmith, perished. Kamisato Commissioner claims that he and his searching party is wounded by the fleeing personnel, but such masquerade are said to protect their families from the real person who did this massacre. The Baladeer. He is one of the strongest Fatui Harbinger and he is no ordinary man. His creation purpose was supposed to be a puppet for the electro archon and that is why his combat capability is above par. His tragic stories and painful encounters made him a perfect weapon for the Fatui.

Only the Amenoma art and the barely survived Isshin art remained. The Yashiro Commision is in charge of cultural matters and they are led by the Kamisato Clan. This tragedy is considered as their burden in an instant. News spreads quickly and everyone was so sure that the Kamisato Clan has fallen.

Yae Miko was there before the Shogun gave her final judgment to the man. Like many times in her life, she has to witness a sight that was so hard for her to endure. The Kamisato leader was not in the best condition when he came to Tenshukaku for he was severly injured. His legs are limped and his Shuumatshuban are the only one company who escorted him there. No one would stay close to a failure, namely one who could not stop a single killer against the elite squad that Kamisato Clan had.

But deep inside, Yae Miko knows that the clan leaders and the whole tri-commission is no match against the Baladeer. Commissioner Kamisato was very lucky man to be alive after a match against him.

"You can leave me here." The man with light blue hair said. He slowly drops to the floor, as the Shogun walks in their direction with a constant pace.

His Shuumatsuban sternly shakes his head and sits next to him "Whatever comes to you shall be mine as well. I will accept the judgement from almighty Shogun with you."
