As a politician and Commissioner, Ayato is always very careful when he takes actions that could affect the people's prosperity. You reap what you sow, his father used to say, and with all he could, he did the best for the people in Inazuma.

But, Ayato noticed that he didn't give his best to Yae Miko. Even after she helped him, he still didn't trust her. He has thrown her to the floors of Tenshukaku, when she was trying to open up to him. You reap what you sow, and he is gathering the rotten fruits right now.

He checked the address Yae Miko gave to him, again and again, while he paces around and finding it was the right place and time. It has been more than half an hour, but that kitsune he really wants to see, never showed up.

It was obvious that he deserved to be trolled like this. She gave him a fake address and he was foolish enough to take it seriously. Who in the right mind want to date in the haunted hills of Mount Yougou? Ayato sighed as he crumpled the address and throws it to a nearby bush. It's time to let her go for real this time.

He was going to return to the estate when an unusual energy flow made him call upon Haran. With his weapon on his side, Ayato was ready to unleash hell after his emotional stability got rattled today. But it was no other than a familiar purple vortex that was causing a deviation of flow in the area. And from that vortex, a figure of beauty forms up, causing Ayato to hastily dismissed his blade.

The woman waved her gohei staff and the energy flow returns to normal. His eyes are glued to her at the moment she fluttered her fingers, as she gracefully dismissed her staff to small sakura petals. If it wasn't for her pink trademark hair, Ayato would have mistaken this woman for someone else. She bows her head as her apologizing gesture and smiles brightly.

"I'm sorry for my tardiness. Did I made you wait for long?"

Ayato couldn't answer right away, for he was too drawn with the traditional kimono she wore. It shows a stark difference from her usual short dress, and he still couldn't take his eyes away from her.

The perfect cuts of her kimono covered her curves, but not her elegance, and it enveloped her in the most lovely way a fabric could do. He saw many other nobles using Komon* kimono, but not one of them could match how breathtaking Yae Miko look in her colour of choice, royal purple silk with intricate fan shaped-white patterns. Her usually hanging locks of pink hair is neatly styled to a complicated updo, with her modified golden crown hangs around her bangs.

Gods forgive him for the blasphemy, but Yae Miko looks like a goddess who just went down from Celestia. And he would wait another lifetime just for this sight.

"No, not that long, really." Ayato said after he managed to clear his throat and even his breathing.

"You're still a terrible liar." she raised a sceptical eyebrow at his shoes "I can see your footprints and you have been pacing for like... almost half an hour?"

Ayato also raised an eyebrow "If I tell you that I have waited longer than your expectation, would it change the fact that you arrived very late?"

Her nose wrinkled as she forced a sour smile "Good point."

To avoid over-observing her attire, Ayato points out their main topic "So, are we going to walk around here as the agenda of our date?"

"You're kidding?" she snorts, which is a contrary to her polished behaviour earlier "Both of us dressed to our best, and you think I just want to walk you around this ghosted valley?"

"You have another plans?"

"Of course I do." Yae Miko waved her fingers lightly, but not without a touch of her usual teasing smile "And I know you have high tastes so don't worry, I have prepared only the best."
