Chapter Eight - "Called His Name"

Chapter Eight Theme Song: Yes Girl - Bea Miller

Basira St'Clair | First POV
Location: Paris, France

I didn't ask Nico anymore questions the rest of the car ride. It was only a yes or no from me whenever he asked me something. He was actually a hypocrite; the irony of all this was ridiculous.

I watched as Otello pulled the car in front of the hotel and my heart beat quicken. There was people in front and inside of the hotel! One of them would see me and immediately tell I need some type of help.

I hope.

My face was no doubt probably still bruised; and there was specs of blood splatter all on my arms and legs. Anybody would a good eyesight would be able to see.

"Do I need to cut your tongue out before we get out of this car?" Nico suddenly asked making me turn my head to him.

His face held no smile, no amusement.

He was definitely serious.

It's like he had different personalities.

I shook my head no at his question not wanting to give him a reason to; I watched Jax take off his jacket and hold it out to me. They were trying to cover me up. I looked from him to Nico who only nodded his head for me to take jacket.

Pulling on the black jacket over my shoulders it was big on me; the sleeves went passed my hands and the jacket stopped close by my knee.

I felt eyes on me and turned my head to Nico; his jaw clenched if looks could kill— I no doubt would be dead right now.

I had been behaving like a 'good girl' as he had wanted so what was the problem now?

"If we get out this car and you scream or do anything to raise attention I'll kill you on the spot. You got that Safire?" He told me.

I nodded my head my finger tips start to shake; there was no escaping him.

We got out the car it was a male and female standing outside smoking a cigarette together. They paid us no mind as they chatted to each other. How could they not see a damsel in distress?

We passed by them going through the automatic doors. The hotel lobby was still pretty packed for it to be passed the time of midnight. Me and Avery had left for the club around ten pm it had been a few hour since then.
