Chapter Nine - "Ink Pen"

Chapter Nine Theme Song: I Was Never There - The Weeknd & Gesaffelstein

Niccolò "Nico" Vinci | First POV
Location: Paris, France

I looked up from my phone once I heard her heels begin to click on the floor with every step she took. I watched her backside all the way until she was inside the bathroom.

That girl...

She was infuriating me in way I couldn't explain. I knew that I should have just killed her outside of the club and got rid of the body before coming back to the hotel.

Yet the feistiness in her tone when she gets mad and the blush that comes on to her cheeks when she gets flustered had me wanting to take her on the wall right there.

I sighed heavily once I heard the shower water running.

Basira you're going to become a problem if I don't get rid of you soon.

I texted back and forth with Jaxon and Silvio telling them to meet in Jaxon room in a few seconds. We did need to talk about the French before daytime arrived. Inside my suitcase I looked for a shirt and threw it on before leaving out the room.

Jaxon room was few doors down. When I reached for the door he was already opening it. "Silvio in here?" I asked soon as I walked in.

"Yeah anything to get away from that girl; she's annoying" Silvio said stressfully as if he known her his whole life.

He was already sitting at a empty desk table smoking on a cigarette. I guess me and him both had something in common with them two girls.

"Did Jax already brief you about the meeting with the French?" I asked looking from him to Jaxon as I went to take a seat.

Silvio waved his hand around. "Jax gave me the run down. You always seemed to amaze me Nico; how did the French end up in a three million debt to you?" He asked me with a grin taking over his face.

I sighed thinking back to my time at the poker table when Basira told me the French men were cheating. "Yves was cheating; the girl is the one who noticed and told me" I told him I honestly hated to admit that fact.

I never noticed the men were cheating right in front of my face until she had spoke of it. If it hadn't been for her; I would have been the one in a three million debt.

"Ah so it's really her three million that you're going to retrieve since she basically helped you win" Silvio joked as he leaned back into his seat.
