Falling in Reverse

Murder has a fluffy tail

     Damian walked into the Manor carrying a rather large box. Cass was sitting by the fireplace waiting for him.     

    'What's that?' She signed watching the box suspiciously.

     "I guess you could call it a welcoming to the family present" He slowly opened the box pulling out a small rabbit. She was black with a spot of white on her chest that kind of looked like a bat.

      'A rabbit?' She stared at him unsure what to do.

     'She thinks it's a test' Damian frowned. His mother had given him many similar tests when he was a child.

     "It's a pet something for you to take care off," He noticed a little spark in her eyes "Do you want to hold her?" Cass gave a short nod, hesitantly holding out her hands. Damian slowly placed the animal in her hands. Cass sat it on her lap gently petting it, a small smile appeared on her lips "What are you going to name her?" Cass studied the Rabbit for a minute.

    'Odette' Not the name Damian was expecting but it was a good one.

Time skip
     "Gordan" Damian greeted as Barbra entered the cave.

     "Wayne" Barbra mimicked earning a scold "So how are the new bats doing?" Barbra had taken an interest in Cass almost immediately. Jason joked that Damian was going to lose his title as mother hen (A title that Damian would very willingly give away).

     "Cain-Cassandra" Damian corrected himself "Seems to be doing pretty good especially since she got the Rabbit"

    "Rabbit?" Barbra panicked "You didn't tell me she got a-Oh this is bad"

     "What are you rambling about?" Damian asked raising an eyebrow.

     "I brought Violet" Violet was Barber's cat. Both vigilantes started at each other before dashing upstairs. Damian pushed away the grandfather clock expecting a blood bath with clumps of black fur everywhere. Instead, there was a terrified cat being chased by a tiny rabbit.

The next day
     Everyone was eating at the table when Odette came running from the kitchen. She rammed straight into Ace's side knocking the dog down before running up to Cass and jumping in her lap.

    "What was that about?" Damian asked looking back at the dog who was now glaring at the little Rabbit.

One week later
     "Cass come get your psychotic bunny!" Jason yelled standing on the counter.

      'Rabbit' Cass signed picking up the ball of fluff.

     "Seriously," Damian said sticking his head in the kitchen.

     "I'm telling you that Rabbit is a freaking Psychopath" Jason glared climbing down.
