Ditched

   As days passed by, Kai and Yui got closer. Eating lunch together, walking to their classes together and even studying together. It was a new experience for Yui, she was unaccustomed to it but she liked it.

  After a long time of suffering and loneliness she finally met someone who could fill in the gap of longing she has been feeling. Slowly she found herself smiling, laughing and caring for Kai, unaware that her actions would cost her something valuable.....

"Hey YUI!" Kai greets her as he runs up to her in the empty hallway.

"Oh good evening Kai-kun" Yui bows politely feeling a hint of excitement in her chest.

"I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to our schools festival later on" Kai asks impatiently

Yui blinks for a moment and thinks, she was surprised that he wanted to hang out with her. She was a bit hesitant because of the brothers but thought that this was a rare opportunity, a rare opportunity to be happy. Thinking of her choice career she finally agreed.

"Of course Kai-kun that would be splendid!" She smiles as she agreed.

   Later on the two of them agreed to meet up behind the 2nd building of their school, unaware that a certain blood thirsty vampire awaits.

  The sound of the footsteps of someone pacing back and forth nervously could be heard. Yui was anxious, worried even as to why Kai was running lates disturbingly late....

Her high hopes was slowly fading away, being replaced with anticipation of disappointment.

  As she was about to loose hope and accept the fact that Kai ditched her when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around excitingly with a smile on her face, only for it to be gone the next second.

"What in the world are you doing here Yui-san? Shouldn't you be at the School's Court? My my what disobedient lady, I ought to discipline you.. thoroughly..." A disappointed Reiji appeared.

"A-ah...no I was just waiting for my friend.." She murmurs

"Friend you say? Well it seems that this "Friend" of yours has abandoned you" Reiji chuckles a sinister smirk crawling up to his lips

Yui felt heartbroken, she was expecting this but she didn't realize it was gonna hurt that much. The pang on her chest grows heavy, it was expected after all nothing good ever lasts...

"How about I take you instead? No use in waiting for someone who is clearly uninterested to you" Reiji asks extending his hands towards Yui's head and making her eyes look at his.

"But I-"

"This is not a request but an order you cannot refuse" Reiji cuts her off, he took her hand and guided her out of the school backyard and into the hallway.

He was feeling rather victorious that he was the one now who got the girl and not somebody who's self worth is nothing.

"Now now don't be disappointed, I promise you tonight would be a memory worthy to be remembered and cherished as you have me in it" Reiji says trying to cheer up the lady who's head is hung low.
