3rd POV
Canyon is unable to stop laughing the entire time once they get to the lunchroom of the hospital.
"Dude that was so priceless! Our brother and your teacher! They really played themselves into that one! I bet the next time they'll be on top of each other somehow! Ahahahahah!" He laughs out.
Archer blushes, trying to mentally imagine both of them together. He never thought they would be but...it's kinda an appealing thought--Hell no, Azerelf is daddy, Sow ain't gonna be the other! I refuse to let your older brother be our second daddy! Sow being my other daddy?! Why are you entertaining these thoughts?! And he's both our older brother as you are ME! Sheesh!
Canyon can't help but watch Archer seem to internally fight himself on something. His laughter has calmed down and now he's curious.
"Hey, are you talking to yourself in your head?" He asks Archer. Archer turns to him. "Huh? No... I'm just thinking about something," he replies back, trying to cover it up. Canyon tilts his head to the right.
"You really thought we lived in a normal world? Well technically it's normal for us but in terms of other things...it's not." Canyon says to Archer. "W-what do you mean?" He asks confused. Canyon lets out a sigh. "Honestly I shouldn't be the only one who knows but I'm seeing that none of you to anyone else seems to be aware of them much. I'm speaking of our secondary selves. The ones that are us but they don't think the same and basically act like a second person stuck in our heads. Although if you got enough bonding power, you can actually separate from one another for a bit of time," Canyon explains. "I don't know if it's possible to be separated for long or even forever or if they can live on their own. I haven't found enough research yet," Canyon continues, thinking about it out loud and putting his hand on his chin.
"You speak nonsense. Are you referring to imaginary friends?" Archer replies. "No, I'm not. It's much more than just imaginary friends in fact. I'm aware of my companion and we bond quite well. Innnn fact, I'll show you my secondary self," Canyon says with a smile. "Yo, Crescent, wanna come out and take a breather? It's finally time that you get to meet my dear baby brother~!" Canyon says excitedly.
Archer watches Canyon look like a psycho until he sees someone split out of him from his side. "Oh...my...god..." Archer is speechless. It's like seeing a ghost come out of you.
"Hello, Archer. It's nice to meet you." Crescent says with a slight bow. "Uh...uh yeah—nice to meet you..." Archer says, unsure of anything that's happening. Canyon chuckles, not surprised by the reaction. "You have a secondary self too, Archer. I know you've been speaking to them as well. It's not that well hidden. What's their name?" He asks. Archer looks at Canyon. "You mean the annoying voice that I keep hearing in my head that won't shut up?!" He exclaims. Hey! Shut up!
Crescent chuckles, with being a secondary self, he can hear and see Archer's secondary self inside him.
"He seems immature like you, but I suppose that's because of your mental age. He's cute, Archer. But have you never even asked for his name?" Crescent asks. Archer shakes his head. "No, because I thought it was just weird uncontrollable thoughts, not a whole other person!" He exclaims. Canyon giggles. "Well to bond better, the best place is to try asking for a name, and then get to know them as you would a new friend. You both take care of each other, you have to. You share the same body so, start being friends!" Canyon exclaims.
Archer visibly groans. "It's already annoying, why must I become friends with it?" Hey! WHY AM I AN 'IT'??!! "Yeah I don't think we'll get along at all," Archer says, slumping in a chair. Crescent chuckles at the sight. "In time you both will learn to get along and be compatible, especially when you let yourself be who you are inside. You'll be inseparable once you let yourself out. That's what your secondary selves are. I mean we're still like a whole other person, we have our different personalities and likes, but we also are your inner desires and we tend to reflect who you are inside a lot. Canyon is childish, but I tend to reflect his more mature side that he'll eventually grow to have later in life. At least I hope so," Crescent says, flicking Canyon's head at the end of his statement. "Crescent!"
