Sow's POV
Okay, soooo... I actually thought today would be pretty normal. I didn't see any signs of it turning out the way it did. Like man, did I wake up in an anime universe? This morning was normal, Canyon being cheerful and supportive, mom and dad being parents, and Archer being his sad self, unfortunately. I do love him. And Loopy was doing his usual thing, panting...
Maybe that was a sign?? I have no clue.
When I went off to college, you can imagine that I did not think anything weird would happen today, right? Any other day, what would be so different?
I had my usual classes, my usual lectures, and studying in the library at lunch. Seeing some friends and relaxing when I can. Normal things.
After college was over, I drove back home. Of course, no one was home as per usual. I always get home early because of my college schedule. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean I have free time. It just means I have to study and all.
I have a part-time job. Yeah, it's Subway. But hey, getting some discounts on my next one isn't half bad. I don't work today though, today is my study day. Tomorrow I work. Sigh.

I have been working on studying for two of my classes for 2 hours before I hear something from downstairs. Probably Canyon or Archer, since their high school schedules, end about now. Though, Archer has been a bit late as of recently...
When I hear the doorbell, I realize maybe it isn't them. I guess I have to go see who it is. Hopefully not a murderer...
I grab my pocket knife and shove it in my pocket. Yes call me paranoid, but I'm alone after all. I go downstairs and look through the peephole.
"What the hell..." I whisper to myself. I see some random dude holding something. Maybe it's their dog and they need a phone? Well, most people have cell phones now, so why would he need my house? Maybe he lost his phone or it was destroyed. Or like me and forgets to charge it- He could also be running from a murderer himself and could be carrying a dying child or person too... Enough with the assumptions, I say to my head... But this could be a ruse as well... Oh heck it. I got my knife anyway.
I decide to open the door--
"WHAT?!"
I'm taken aback by the familiar scream. I look past the dude in front of me, where he is currently looking as well. I see... "Canyon?! What's going on? Why are you with this man?" I ask once I see my brother behind the mysterious man. I suddenly get a protective feeling. "S-Sow, this guy has Archer! He is a kidnapper!" I look back at the guy when I hear that. I move my hand to my pocket cautiously before wondering something.
"Wait...If he is a kidnapper, why is he bringing Archer here then? To his own home?" "TO MURDER--" "And how do you know it's Archer?" "BecAuSE he said to the lump that this is the thing's family's hOusE" Canyon dramatically explains. If this is Archer, he'll be insulted to hear he was called a thing. I sigh, Canyon can be difficult at times. "Let's ask the guy instead, little brother," I reply. Canyon glares at the dude. Although this could all be an act of some sort... "Don't come crying to me if he murders us first because YOU wanted to hear an explanation FROM A MURDERER!" Canyon exclaims before shutting up. I shake my head at him before turning to the mysterious dude with a pointed look.
"So, why do you have...Archer?" I ask in hesitation. I actually don't know if he has Archer but my brother feels really strongly about it and the dude is holding a human-size thing in his arms. I can't see the face. It seems the guy is too busy concentrating to have paid attention to me and my brother both saying right in his face that he's a criminal.
