CHAPTER 0: INTRO
UNKNOWN
The scent of rotting flesh and decaying wood swept into my nostrils.
I frowned at the disgusting smell.
Before me, was a corpse. A cadaver in a state of decomposition. The torn flesh, dried blood, and exposed innards and organs caused a euphoric sensation travelling throughout my entirety.
Although I despise the smell, I sure did fell in love with the grotesque sight.
The corpse was like a beautiful work of art, a masterpiece created by yours truly.
I snickered to myself.
How they'd LOVE to see this new creation of mine. The elatedness which I'm feeling intensified as I thought of the varying expressions that would soon marr their faces.
Crap it. It seems that I am unable to restrain my lascivious nature when it comes to these things.
My prolonged gaze at the dead body continued on for a few more seconds as I await my companion.
I decided that I would commit to my memory every single details of the creation I made.
The worn-out door of this abandoned shack I'm staying creaked open and produced a struggling groan.
From the doorframe, was my companion.
He was a big guy with sinewy arms to which I had no doubt, would be able to tear apart a whole elephant.
He strode inside the dimly lit shack and passed a look of distaste at its run-down interior.
The stench of rotteness seemed to have reached him as I noticed him plugging his nose.
"Awful." He murmured pertaining to the smell and the interior as well as its creepy ambience.
"Beautiful." I corrected him as I wait for his gaze to dart over the corpse at my feet.
When he spotted it, I grinned ever so widely.
"Wow. That's messier than your previous works." He commented.
Spreading my arms out in a melodramatic manner, I spoke:
"I'm all for trying out new things."
He smirked.
"So, how're things on your end?" Asked my companion.
"As you can see, I had just finished cleaning up the extra mess. But I'm basically close to getting her. Once we have that 'girl' in our hands, it would be like taking a walk in the park to capture the sky Arcobaleno. Which we would eventually use to smoke out the Ancients One who still roams our planet."
He made a grumbling sound of some sorts, but after years of working with him, I'm pretty much aware of his mannerisms so his grumbling could only mean that he was showing how pleased he was with the news.
"It's only a matter of time when we take over the universe." I added.
"Universes." He corrected me with glee evident in his bloodshot eyes. His crooked smile used to unsettle me because of it's asymmetrical ugliness, though I got used to seeing it by now.
"Right. As long as we follow through with our initial plan, it won't be long when ALL the heft of the existing universes would fall into our palms."
"Then let me take on Space."
I smirked. "And I shall take on Time. There's just some beef between me and that old geezer."
"He'd better hide then."
"No. I'd prefer if he'd face me head on." I told him with a confident smirk.
My companion's expression seemed to have moved past his mirth.
"Wait, wasn't there a THIRD?" He inquired.
All I could do was shrug nonchalantly in response to his query.
"Even if there was, then he/she would be easy to take on once we take over the positions of our respective nemesis."
"Point."
Silence enveloped us for a bit, until he shifted his bulk which caused the resident dusts to be disturbed and flew all over the room.
"What about that thing?" Says he while gesturing at the corpse. "Should we get rid of it?"
"No."
My smile widened. "I think it's better to return to the Vongola's their missing sky."
For a good few minutes, I let my words sink into my companion's mind and allowed him to process it thoroughly.
After he took his sweet time to weigh things, he spoke:
"Sounds like a plan, I like it. Epic and Twisted."
I have no idea what was 'epic' with that plan but I couldn't careless.
He began to lift up the disemboweled cadaver, leaving splatters of gore spreading across the room.
I shied away when a certain tissue was flicked at my direction.
"Well then, let me do the honors of taking the lost sky back home. I'm sure the Clams would be delighted to have their boss back." He erupted in a fit of hearty laughter and left the premises.
As soon as I am left with my own thoughts, I chuckled softly.
Until my small chuckles turned into manic cackles, I spun, and danced, and skipped around the room like a prima ballerina.
"The End is near. How delightful~."
(╬☉д⊙)⊰⊹ฺ
A group of mafiosi patrolled the perimeters of the Sky Mansion.
They had reached a certain part of the Vongola's land property, the entrance of an infamous suicide spot.
The woods had been owned by the Vongola since the time of the founders but the place had gotten a bad reputation after a woman died there.
And since the passing of years, many mafiosi and civillians mysteriously appeared and found in the middle of the woods.
But none of them were alive, all were DEAD.
Some ruslting sound caught the attention of the patrolling mafiosi.
They all synchronously turned towards the entrance of the woods and spotted a silhouette of a mysterious man who suspiciously lurked around there.
The group decided to approach the area but were beyond surprised when the man ran and disappeared deep into the woods.
Feeling their instincts take over, they instantly hurried after the suspicious man and followed the trail which he purposefully left in order for the others to follow.
They kept at it with their game of chase until they reached the end of the woods.
A clearing greeted them and beyond that was a cliff-edge.
But what got their full attention was the body that was collapsed on the ground and the mystery man was nowhere to be seen.
They all closed in and approached the body in caution, yet they all sucked in a deep breath when they realized something.
The man before them was dead.
And he was awfully familiar.
The sight of his corpse would forever haunt them as well as the other members of the Clam Family.
