Chapter 2

     We walked in the halls before Will went to go to his locker, while I waved goodbye and went to mine. I opened my locker as I put my backpack in the locker and took out my binder & other things like notebooks. I closed my locker as I took my things and went over to my classroom.

I walked in and saw Will in the back, I sat next to him. In the front of the class was another yelling match between a student and the teacher. The kid up there was called brooklyn or BK, he was yelling again because the teacher told him to take off his bear face mask. The triplets Ginger, Sugar and Spice were up there too near BK. Ginger tried to hold him back, Sugar was standing there making sure nothing bad happened and Spice was yelling & cheering him on.

"I wonder how they could just yell like it's nothing, like they're not going to get in trouble.." I whispered to Will.

Will looked up from his writing book, "I know right, I would be so scared. Especially with a teacher." He whispered back.

"Nah, you can't argue back since you're an A + student and you're also good at having conversations with teachers!"

Will shrugged, "Well true, but you're quiet and overthink too much." He answered.

I was about to argue with him until the school bell rang.

"Alright settle down and sit down in class!" The teacher yelled. BK glared at him before sitting down. The triples did the same but only Spice glaring. The teacher started talking, I was half listening until I got tapped on the shoulder.

"Hello, I apologize for interrupting you while you're trying to learn but uhm, do you have an extra pencil? I forgot one, so sorry again!" The person next to me was called Tenmei, he was a pretty nice kid. I have conversations with him sometimes, a lot more when Will is absent some days.

I nodded as I went looking through my bag, getting one and giving it to him, "Here." I whispered.

"Thank you!" He whispered back before going back to his work.

The teacher was coming around, passing around another paper with more work to do. I sighed under my breath. Kids in the back were screaming. I felt a paper ball hit the back of my head. I was dreading the entire day, I just wanted to sleep. Margo was yelling, Destiny was trying to annoy people around her and scream at them. Hunter was running around, and Addison was throwing paper balls at people. James was being quiet, which was nice, less chaos.

I started doing my work as the lights went out. I groaned under my breath in annoyance. Because we were going to watch a video on math for no reason, the teacher could just teach instead of putting on a video.

I laid my head down on my desk as it started, I could hear the sounds in the background. The teacher wasn't even watching us, he barely even knew how to be a teacher. How did he even get this job? Many questions filled my head as I drifted off to sleep.
