"What is it, Cain?"
"I...don't know, it's weird. I feel like I've seen it before though."
"This? , it doesn't even look like Google should know what it is, and it looks familiar?"
"I'll try touching it"
"Cain? I wouldn't do that if I were you. What if it's poisonous, or electric, or..or....Cain? CAIN! Wake up man!"
"Cain? Wake up! Hel-loooooo, Earth to Mr. Skye, you're gonna be late for school!"
"Ugh, mom, just five more minutes?"
"*sigh* Honestly Cain you have to be the laziest person on earth!"
It took me exactly 1.5 seconds to realize my mom pulling the sheets out from under me
*BAM*
I was 1.5 seconds too late
"Ow! Ok ok I'm going!"
I got changed as fast as humanly possible and proceeded to run outside with bread in my mouth. The whole morning had an uncanny resemblance to how some anime characters wake up.
As I walked to the school bus I noticed something in the corner of my eye. Nothing special, really, except for the fact that it had seemed to move faster than anything I've ever seen. I shrug it off, after all, I did stay up late last night playing video games.
I yawn as I enter the bus, which was, as usual, jam-packed. Luckily my best friend Trent always saves me a seat beside him, so normally the ride wasn't bad. I was scanning the bus for signs of Trent when I realized he told me he'd skip school today 'cos he got a high fever. "Oh great" I thought, "now I have to find someone kind enough to let an awkward stranger sit next to them." Boy, this was going to be one hell of a day.
