"I will explain everything"
I looked around them all. They seemed like they were 1 or 2 years older than me. I looked them all up and down and the boys looked really tall while the girls looked smaller.
"And who the hell are you?" I asked them. They just looked at me and Dumbledore before the guy with black hair cleared his throat and answered me.
"I am Sirius Black and that is Remus Lupin, '' he pointed at the guy next to him with the big scar. "And that is James Potter," he pointed at the boy with the glasses.
I nodded and then Sirius shoved James on the shoulder so he could talk up. James looked at Sirius and James glared at Sirius but later smiled at me. "ohh yes I'm James and it's nice to meet you" he said to me.
I gave him a smile but then turned to the girls.
"And who are you?" I asked them.
The red-haired girl took a step forward and smiled at me as she reached out a hand for me to take.
I took her hand and shook it.
"I'm Lily Evans and the two of them are Dorcas and Marlene" she pointed to the two girls standing behind her.
There was one with blond hair and pale skin and then there was one with brown hair and darker tone on the skin.
I smiled at them and said. "Nice to meet you."
Then I turned around so I looked at dumbledore.
"What am I doing here?" I asked him.
He smiled at me too and started talking.
"Oh yes this is my office and we are in hogwarts, as you can see these are your schoolmates who will show you around but before that you have to be divided into a house" I nodded.
He started talking again.
"There are 4 houses. Ravenclaw, slytherin, gryffindor and hufflepuff. Your schoolmates here are in gryffindor. And they have the house color red while slytherin has green and hufflepuff has yellow and then ravenclaw has blue."
A little confusing but I will learn.
"So how do I get divided into a house?" I asked him.
"Oh yes you will wear a hat that will elect you and we call it the sorting hat" he said.
"But you will be divided in front of the whole school, but because you are older than the people that are usually sorted, you will be divided with the first years who will also be divided."
I nodded.
"Can you take her to the great hall, please?" He asked the students
"Yes professor," Remus replied.
"This way" Lily took my hand and pulled me out of Dumbledore's office.
