4| first day

It was the first day. And Lily had woken me up this morning.

I put on my uniform. It was a skirt and a white shirt with a red tie. I brushed my long dark hair and put on some mascara and eyeliner.

Me and the girls walked to the great hall and sat down on the Gryffindor table.

I took some toast with some butter on and then started eating. I had just eaten half of my toast when the great hall's door open and in walked the marauders.

It was Peter, James, Sirius and Remus. James catch my eye but then looked at the redhead girl next to me, he winked at her and smiled.

All four dudes walked over to us and sit down, James sat down next to Lily and Sirius sat next to Marlene. While the other two sat down in front of me.

"Hello ladies, what are we talking about?" Asked Sirius.

"Nothing Sirius, can you please go away" said Dorcas.

"Why we just come" he said.

I didn't bother listening because they started fighting and because it was not a really interesting conversation so I started eating again but then Remus ask me how I'm liking Hogwarts so far.

"It's great, it's really welcoming and it's really feel like home, you know" I answered him.

we didn't talk so much after that and I kept hearing James asking Lily out over and over again and flirting with her it was really irritating. And I felt sorry for Lily.

Time went by and I had finished eating. I stand up from the table and started walking out of the great hall, I said goodbye to the girls and boys.

"Hey I think we have the same class. Please let me walk you there" it was James who had said that.

"Okay but hurry I don't want to be late for my first class" I said while walking away from him.

He walked over to me and show me the way to the classroom, we had potion with Slughorn.

We didn't talk on the way to the classroom, it was a little awkward but I hadn't anything to talk about. James didn't bother to talk to me anyways.

I could feel him watching me from time to time. I was so close to catch him looking at me but he turned his head around just in time.

That really pissed me off.

When we was outside the classroom he open the door for me I thanked him and walked in.

It was four table on each row and they looked like a big square. And it looked like you could sit 4 on one table.

The class had not started yet, I sat down at a table with James because I didn't know anybody else.

This class was with Slytherins. I didn't get why Slytherins and Griffendors are bullying each other.

I think it's pathetic.

I took out my notebook and a pencil. And then I open my book tills I found an empty page.

James did the same.

I leaned back in my chair and closed my eyes. I was really tired because I had not slept well.

I could feel James eyes on me.

When I was about to say something to him the doors open and in walked a guy that I hade seen hang out with Severus Snape.

He had dark curly hair and gray eyes. He looked a lot like Sirius and then it hit me, he most be Sirius little brother. He was very pretty.

I couldn't remember his name. So I asked James his eyes was also on the guy. But he looked at him like he was disgusted.

James told me his name was Regulus black. And that he was in Slytherin.

I nodded at him and kept my eyes on the guy.

Regulus set down with some other Slytherin guys and then he turned around and our eyes met.

I turned around really quickly.

Fuck that was embarrassing I thought to myself.

And in the next moment Slughorn walked into the classroom. He said hello to everybody and told them his name and then he started the lesson. 

I didn't let my focus belong to Regulus or James, instead I was really interesting in this lesson.

I like potion but the information he gave out I already knew because I was homeschooled and my dad wanted the best for me so he learned me many things that a 15-year-old girl would not know if it wasn't for him.

The Gryffindor and the Slytherins had one argument and Slughorn gave them detention but it was only two students from each house so I wasn't involved.

After class I went up to my dorm and a left some things and grab some books that I would need to the other classes.

Today come to an end and I ate dinner with the girls and nothing special happened.

The school really gives me a home feeling.

But when I walked in the corridors one painting started talking to me. My breath caught in my throat because I was not prepared for the figure in the painting to start talking to me, but we had a nice conversation and it told me all about what it had seen the couple of days.

This castle it is very beautiful.

But the stairs are very scary, because I was standing in a staircase and when I was going to jump off it it moved and if Dorcas had not taken my hand I would have been dead now.

I could feel Regulus eyes on me when we where having dinner. I caught him one time but he looked away really fast so I don't know if I just imagine it.

I told lily but she told me I must have imagined it or it was an misunderstanding.

James didn't talk to me much this day he was trying to get Lily to go out with him but Lily said no.

I felt a little bad for James but it's look like he didn't care and asked her again one hour later.

I put on my pyjamas and brushed my teeth and hair. Then l laid down on my bed.

I sank down into my mattress and my duvet cover was cold.

I let out a deep breath and close my eyes. And then I let my sleep take over me.
