Chapter 1

(Parker's pov)

"Are we ready to go?" I said calling my friends we were headed to Oklahoma for spring break and we needed to be at the airport soon I heard multiple "yes" "alright let's go." Me and my friends are greasers  yeah we have greasers and Socs here in California it's pretty cool because the Socs live in Southern California and we live in Northern California so we don't bother each other the only time is when we have rumbles but other than that we don't bother each other. 

When we go to the airport I did a quick count of all of us then I realized that we were missing our youngest member Ashton or Ash for short.

"hey where's Ash?"I asked while looking around

" I'm right here Parks." I heard someone say I turned around and saw him

"Jaz put your Taser away before we get kicked out." I said Jazlene  or Jaz was Ash's best friend  her parents are always in and out of rehab so she stays at my House half the time I enjoy having her live with me she's very into books and movies just like I am she's like a sister to me.

" fine." I heard her say she loves to tase Socs  because it's fun according to her

We Boarded the plane  but I felt like I have been to Oklahoma before no i don't think so I lived in California all my life I think?

I never told you about me well I'm Parker or Parks  I was adopted when I was 2 months old meaning I don't know my parents or if I have siblings or not

Anyway I was listening to some music when I felt someone shake me

"Hey Parks we're here." I looked up and saw my best friend Ellie 

"huh? Oh alrighty then let's go." I said and we left the plane

"Chris do you know where we're staying?" I asked  I know he has a cousin that lives here but I don't know his name he never brings him up or talks about him at all.

"yeah we're staying with my cousin Dallas." he said  Dallas? I feel like I heard his name before but I don't know

That's when we saw a car pull up there were 7 guys in the car I felt anxious because I had only heard about his cousin and not his friends.

I guess Ellie noticed how anxious I was because next  thing I knew she gave me my anxiety pen and was in the process of calming me down.

"Hey Parks calm down it's okay ,you're okay." I heard her say  Jay was hugging me so I don't have a panic attack and Bella gave me my water.

The guys then got of the car and started walking up to us I was calmed down by then they all looked nice so I thought that there was nothing to worry about.

"hey cousin long time no seen so these are your friends?" Dallas said

"Yeah guys this is my cousin Dallas Winston ,dally  this is Bella, Jay ,Ellie Ash,Jaz, and Parks my very good friends." I thought about it we all had been friends for 11 years so we knew almost everything about eachother.

"Nice to meet you this is Ponyboy, Sodapop, Darry, Johnny and two- bit now come on I bet your all cold." I was really cold.

 We got in the car  and drove off  I thought about the the first 3 names Dally mentioned I felt like I heard them before but did i? I lived in California for all 19 years of my life but why did I just hear them now?

Anyways I was looking out the window  when I heard someone say my name. It was Ponyboy

"Hey Parks I have a question what's it like living in California." I turned around and said

"Well it's good for the most part but we have  greasers and socs  but we all ignore each other." I said he looked shocked but then asked "why do your friends call parks?"  I was a bit confused about why he asked that so I replied with " well my name is Parker but they call parks for short." I didn't feel like telling him that I was adopted because he would probably tell everyone else and I don't need  anyone to know I turned to Jaz  and Ash both of them were asleep so I took a picture Ellie turned to me and said " their both gonna be mad but mostly Jaz you know how she is." She said looking at the picture "I know but I'm use this to blackmail her so she stays out  of trouble." I think Ellie was right because Jaz woke up" hey Sleepy head sleep well?"Jay asked I could  tell that she was mad about something.

"lay off Jay I'm not in the mood  right now." She was mad  about something

" what happened Jaz did you get you taser taken away by security again? "Chris asked  

" maybe."she said "but I got it back before we got on the plane."she said she knew I would be mad if she got taken away for real

" next time you get it taken away I'm not buying you a new one I'm serious Jaz you have to put it away before we get on the plane."I said 

We pulled up into a neighborhood then I realized someone was going to have wake up Ash.

"Jaz your waking up Ash." I said she looked shocked 

"But why me?" She asked

"Because your the only who he won't punch." I said 

"...fine you owe me a sprite when we get back." I knew that's what she wanted

"Deal now wake him up we're almost there."I said

" Ash wake up we're almost there." She said she looked mad 

"Huh how long was I out?" He asked

"The whole drive." I  replied

"Wow... it felt longer." He said 

Darry turned to me and said  " how old are you ,you look like your 15." I got that all the time so I didn't mind.

"Oh I'm 19 and a senior in high school I graduate in 2 months." I think I saw him smile but I don't know.

Then Soda looked at  me and said " what do you do for work?" I replied with "oh I work at a convenient store for a gas station." We pulled up to the house where we would be staying at turns out the house belongs to Darry, Sodapop and Ponyboy  me and Jaz would be staying one the rooms that they had.

We got settled in but I couldn't stop thinking about something I don't know what but I have a good feeling something great is going to happen.

Then I laid down after that long plane ride I fell asleep and so did Jaz.

This was going to be the best spring break ever.
