Sleepy!Shinji x reader

"You're already tired? We wanted to go to the bar in the evening tho!!" You complained as Shinji, your Captain, told you he was to tired to do it, even though he usually goes there every evening.

You were lieutenant from Squad five since Shinji became Captain, the two of you already knew each other in the academy as well. It was nice to have a good 'relationship' between your captain and yourself, not so strict and cold like Renji and Kuchiki Byakuya as example.

"Sorry not sorry, now stop complaining. My head hurts like you slapped and pulled my hair for three hours straight" Shinji said, laying down on the grass completely as the two of you sat on a mountain, looking down on the Soul Society.

"But Shinji, please" "(y/n), shut up" you started again but we're cut off by Shinji covering your mouth with his hand.

"Shut up unless you want me to shove my fingers down your throat, here and now" he said. Now you released Shinji really was at the end with his nerves... it was creepy how he acted then. But why back of now??

But as if that you are going to back off now, leaving him alone. That wasn't even an option, the only one in your brain was to stick out your tongue, cringing him on as he felt his hand getting wet.

"(Y/N)" he yelled, pulling his hand away from your mouth as you licked your lips.

You were about to sit down on the grass but Shinji was faster, towering over you, his hand over your mouth again.

"My hand is wet now anyway, isn't it? Does that mean it's my allowance to shove'em down ya throat?" He asked, smirking. He was a man of words, he did what he said. You wanted to answer with 'nice thing you are offering me, others would kill for it' but couldn't, not even mumble it since it already was to late.

"Thinking of an answer, aren't we?" You shook your head to decline what he asked. "Do ya wanna bite me now? My little kitten here doesn't bite though, does she..?" He said, not particularly serious, more sounding ridiculous.

Shinji's hair started falling onto your face, making your vision on him harder. You could feel though that he lifted himself again from your body and say down next to you, making it possible to breath for you again.

"Since when am I your kitten?? Who told ya that shit?" You asked, still a bit panting. "You're panting like one" he responded yawning. "You're so disgusting.. no wonder no one wants you" you said, standing up and dusted off your uniform.

"Disgusting? Who licked my hand first? It was literally an Invitation from you" he scoffed and followed you with standing up. He walked up behind you, still looking down onto Soul Society.

"Yeah, yeah.. you're just horny, pervert" you said, about to turn around and walk down to the squad five barracks again. "How did ya call me?? A pervert?" He stopped you from walking further, pulling you by your hair. Usually you always pull him by his hair... it really hurts more than you expected.

"Don't pull my precious hair!! I have a way better hairstyle and haircut than you, I can't afford that it doesn't sit perfect" you complained and were forced to walk closer to him, loosing up his grip.

"I swear (y/n), I'll write an extra report just for you and your behavior" Shinji said, looking down at you. "Yeah, write in there that you finger-fucked my mouth. Old man Yama is going to get a heart attack if he reads that" you responded and were about to turn around again but you were stopped once more.

"You're annoying me. Stop walking away and finally listen!" You tried once more to walk away. "Enough, I'm carrying you" "what?? No!" It was to late again... this man really took his last power to carry you to shut you up and talk normally, even though he didn't even talk normal himself, he wanted to have the lead though.

"So (y/n)-chan, we're going on the weekend to the bar, alright?" He changed the subject very quickly. "Ya want me to list all things I did 'wrong', don't you? Don't act so weird" you said, looking straight down at his captain robe.

"Basically" "no thank you, weekend sounds good" you cut off. "I'm going to go and sleep now though" Shinji continues to talk as you hung down his shoulders. He at least didn't carry you bride-style and made it look weird.

It really isn't the very first time the two of you were sighted together in the seireitei while doing something like arguing, pulling in each other and actual begging while you were on your knees in front of your Captain.

But he also did it already, kneeling down and asked if you would to his reports and that you are the best lieutenant he ever had. 'You never had a other lieutenant though, idiot!' You slapped him always over the head when it happened again that he asks you to do it.

"Not my business if you're going to sleep or not" you told him. "Well it is yours now though" we suddenly stood in his captain quarters. This man really flash stepped the last few meters and took me with him??

"Shinji what the hell am I supposed to do here?" You asked as he sat you down onto his bed. He took of his captains robe and laid it over the chair in front of the desk, afterwards laying straight down onto the bed as well. With his head down, laying on his belly, he looked at the side of the room as you sat there in confusion.

"So..? You want me to do something, right?" You asked and crawled onto the right side from Shinji, still sitting. "Yeah.. I had a few tough days, ya know? Could you.. I know you're good at doing massages, could you.. please?" He finally said, taking way to long for choosing words.

"When you ask like this.. I guess I can" you responded, having a slight smile on your lips. "Thanks (y/n)"

You moved closer to him again to start your magic work. It was silent in the room, completely silent until you spoke up. "Shinji, ya still have something to say or am I wrong?" You asked teasingly, bending a bit over to get closer to his face.

"Yeah I'm gonna tell ya that later, it's nothing important, it can wait" he said, his voice a lot lower than usually. "If it's something about your reports I'm going to stop right and here, better tell me" you stopped moving your hands. "No, No it's not.. continue" he cut you off quickly. „What's the magic word??" „Please, (y/n)"

It's been a while, Shinji's breathing got a lot more relaxed and he seemed to be asleep.

You moved your hands from his back up to his hair, collecting all the long strains together in your hand. You started to loosely braid it together. His hair was surprisingly smooth and extremely long. Shinji had a small smile drawn on his lips, it made you notice he's not asleep.

„You wanted to tell me something but said it wasn't important, remember?" you said and sat straight up again as he turned around to face you. „Can I show you? I think it's easier" Shinji looked at you. „I thought you're tired..?"

You were cut off by Shinji as he pulled you down and pressed his lips against yours.

All the Years of friendship had effect on him and he first confesses now? He had so many chances while being in the human world.. it would have been a lot more special but he choose the most sudden way possible. Not that it's bad! It's the way you would also do it.

His hands were placed on your cheeks, yours on his chest to support you with the weight. He pulled away after a few seconds, making you blush extremely.

„I thought you'd be an incredible bad kisser but this changed my mind" you told him in your usual tone, the only thing which didn't got was the heavy blush on your face. It made Shinji giggle.

„What's so funny?? Got a problem with anything?" you asked and frowned at him, crossing your arms over your chest. „No.. you're just sweet" Shinji wrapped his arms around you, pulling you right on top of him. „Now sleep, you followed me the whole day like a puppy, you also should be tired" he laid his hand on your hair, stroking it softly.

„Yeah.. thank you" you responded, feeling how the blush got even warmer and redder.

„Yeah, love you too"
„I said thank you! Not ‚I love you'!"
„Hah! You did now though"
„Shut up, I love you too"
