Byakuya Kuchiki x reader

You were overwhelmed with the message that Rukia is going to be executed. You didn't believe it.

You went with her to academy and we're good friends with Renji and her. After she got adopted into the Kuchiki clan, you and Renji graduated and got into the Gotei 13.

Renji as Lieutenant of squad six lead by Byakuya Kuchiki and you took the Captain exam right after to get promoted for being the Captain of squad two and the stealth force.

You got accepted. It's been a few years already as a Captain and good relation ship with Renji snd Rukia until you got the message she's being executed.

You couldn't believe her own brother didn't do anything about it. What kind of siblings are they? Even when she's adopted, he should care at least a tiny bit. It's about death and life!

As you were about to check out Byakuya's point of view it was already to late. A hell butterfly told you the execution is begging in twenty minutes.

You didn't had any chance to get around the execution so you at least were there on time. Not many Captains were present. Byakuya Kuchiki was though...

You still had ten minutes.. a small talk wouldn't hurt, Right?

You eventually pulled him by his collarbone a few meters away, receiving a glare from him afterwards. „May I ask, what are you doing
(l/n)?" „thats what I wanted to ask you! What kind of brother are you? Letting her die in front of you. You aren't even trying to help your own sister in any way! That's not how siblings are, you can't tell me it's a noble thing, it isn't! It's ridiculous what you are pulling right now. I would give my for my siblings if they were in this situation! I'm serious, this rage I have against you is hilarious huge. Do something against it" you left.

You left him standing there. He was shocked. Yes, he already had received a similar speech from Ukitake but yours was more making him realize what he's doing.

The woman he had loved for a couple years already just told him her rage against him. You were right, he had to change something urgently... but did your statement already took place in his next act? It didn't.

You were crying, tears welling down your cheeks slowly as the execution was prepared. While you were telling Byakuya your opinion, they started tearing up. He noticed. He saw you crying, that reason was enough to make clear he had something to change.

He slowly realized that Rukia's execution already had begun while he thought about what to do. He officially failed as a brother. Now that you made it clear for him which responsibilities he had, he noticed he had failed every single of them.

His responsibility to protect Rukia from anything. His responsibility to check up on her. His responsibility to treat her right as a sibling. It was over, he thought.. until Rukia's execution was stopped by a Ginger haired man.

Ichigo Kurosaki. He saved her. As same as Kyōraku and Ukitake started to go against the law. You were to stunned to speak and Byakuya slowly walked towards the happening.

He took a look at everything, already pulling out his Zanpakuto.

"You aren't going to kill the boy who saved your sister, are you?" You looked over to him, pulling your own Katana from your back.

"For my own honor, I am standing with the law and don't let myself being controlled my emotional feelings" he told you, walking foreword to Ichigo as he slowly landed onto the ground.

"You are not fighting him." That was your statement as you held your Zanpakuto against his throat. "One move and you're dead" he wasn't afraid of you... why should he? He was truly convinced that he was stronger than you. Which he probably also was but little did he know that you had Yoruichi on your side.
