Byakuya Kuchiki x reader

You weren't a fan of all these noble Clans. kyōraku was fine, they didn't seem spoiled, especially Shunsui. He always came over very calmly. He had a thing for girls, yes, but maybe that was why he came over this nice and kind.

On the other hand — the complete opposite was the Kuchiki Clan. Byakuya Kuchiki to be correct. He was powerful and the head of the Kuchiki Clan.. he was spoiled. Like a rich, young Child. He probably didn't even know how to cook an easy meal, which in your opinion, was normal knowledge everyone should master.

He was the captain of squad six, the squad you got put in after Academy. Others said you were lucky that you worked under Kuchiki and that they would love to be in squad six, but this spoilness was annoying.

You couldn't really tell which was the 'normal being' of a famous Clan. The one was chilly, the other strict. Which was the norm?

Luckily, you got good along with Renji, squad six's lieutenant. You, yourself were the third seat. Immediately after Academy you got ranked this high.. but your power apparently approved. Otherwise, you would be the third seat.

Being Ranked high also meant doing much for the Captain. It didn't go that far as if you were the housemaids but the one or other thing was different. Renji had the same problem but just worst.

You've already been in this squad for a long time. Went through Rukia's exucution and through Aizen's 'takeover' of soul society. Fights between Ichigo and Kuchiki, fighting with Kenpachi against Yammy. After fights it was obvious that everyone was shutted down, for the first time. Wounds needed to heal and a lot went through the Seireitei and would society.

Since Renji always was stacked full with the paperwork and squad 4 with healing. You often had to take over the watch over your Captain. You had a big mouth and talked a lot, Kuchiki didn't. He wasn't able to kick you out nor to call someone on you or just cut you down, since of his wounds.

"Say.. Taicho, someone's gotta teach you how to handle yourself. What if suddenly a deadly disease comes over the Seireitei and no one could do anything since they're dead. You'd also die, ya know? It's because you aren't able to do things on yourself. Ain't it embarrassing?" You told him. He would have paid to be able to turn his back to you but he couldn't. He was stuck with you until he didn't need someone to watch over him anymore.

"If everyone dies because of this disease, which won't happen, I would be long dead already and didn't have to take care of what you mentioned." You got as a respond. "Oh lord, you didn't understand, did ya? If everyone would die, even I, but you'd keep on living and are alone. What then?" "Kill Myself with Senbonzakura." 'That was a quick answer' you thought to yourself.

"That's harsh." You mumbled under your breath. You had expected anything but not this. "Why?" You asked bold.

"To meet with Rukia and live another afterlife with her. This time not as a cold brother, not as a noble family again. I experienced it now, I don't have to do it again." Ouch. That was a deep cutting answer. here you noticed how much he changed over the last years. He cared about the ones around him.

"What about ya squad? Just leave'em stranding? You wouldn't be able to get away from me and Renji though! Renji and Rukia are something, ya know, and I am the match maker!" You said proud of yourself. his eyes grew wide.

'They didn't tell him?' Was your first thought. The two just came together a few days ago and you thought Kuchiki would know since Ukitake also knew.

"Oh god, your own sister didn't tell you about her and Renji?" You asked careful. "No, I didn't know. Thank you for telling me" he responded. he said thank you! "You aren't going to cut Renji down, are you?" You kept asking. "No.. I won't"
