Everything was.. calm.
Absolutely not how I had expected this to be. Death grabbed my wrist, and told me to close my eyes.
"Don't move, don't breathe, don't open your eyes. Stay still." I did as he commanded, and within a matter of seconds, the world was spinning. Faster, faster, faster.. until I hit the ground. Hard. My head began throbbing once more, and my heart was beating quickly.
That's when it hit me.
"I'm dying, aren't I?!" I screamed. "You're taking me! These are my last moments, aren't they?! I'm running out of time!"
"Shut up! You'll disrupt the process."
"What?! What am I disrupting?! I'd like to tell you a word or two!"
"Or hundreds." Death said under his breath.
"I heard that."
"You were supposed to." I groaned. "You're not being very cooperative."
"And your known me for how long?" He ignored me, and began that all too familiar countdown.
"13, 12, 11.."
