Liz's is with the boys and her dad trying to find Dr. Visyak. Dean has been keeping her up to date on what's going on, and she wanted to help any way she can. Liz says, "Where is she?" Her dad says, "She said to meet her here. I'll try her again." Her dad calls Dr. Visyak and they hear a phone ring and follow it to a dumpster where she's at. Her dad crouches in front of her and says, "Elle?" Dr. Visyak breathes out a, "Hey. I guess I could have used your help after all." Her dad says, "Just be still." Sam says, "What happened?" Dr. Visyak says, "They took me. I got away." Her dad opens her jacket to see her stomach stained with blood and her says, "Oh, Ellie. Oh, what have they done to you?" Dr. Visyak chuckles and says, "Everything. The demon I could have handled, you know? But when the angel stepped in... I told him, Bobby. They have enough to crack purgatory wide open." Her dad says, "Tell me. I need to know." Dr. Visyak says, "They need virgin blood. That's a milk run for them. And they need the blood of a purgatory native. Well, they've got plenty of that now." Dean says, "Have they opened it yet?" Dr. Visyak shakes her head and says, "Tomorrow. The moon and the eclipse. I'm sorry, Bobby." Her dad softly says, "No, it's okay." Dr. Visyak says, "I'm sorry, really." Her dad says, "Just tell us where they are. Elle?" Then she dies and her dad closes her eyes. Castiel then appears and says, "I'm sorry this had to happen. Crowley got carried away." Her dad's angry and says, "Yeah, I bet it was all Crowley, you son of a bitch!" As her dad goes to attack Castiel the boys hold him back and Dean says, "You don't even see it, do you? How totally off the rails you are." Castiel says, "Enough! I don't care what you think. I've tried to make you understand. You won't listen. So let me make this simple. Please go home and let me stop Raphael. I won't ask again." Dean says, "Well, good, 'cause I think you already know the answer." Castiel says, "I wish it hadn't come to this. Well, rest assured, when this is all over... I will save Sam, but only if you stand down." Dean angrily says, "Save Sam from what?" Castiel disappears and then stands behind Sam and touches his head. Later, they're at Bobby's and Sam's in the panic room on a bed because Castiel broke the wall in Sam's head. Dean says, "Sammy? Come on. Snap out of it." Liz walks into the panic room and says, "Anything?" Dean shakes his head and says, "I can't just sit here, Liz, I've got to help him." Liz softly says, "Dean." Dean says, "You know, "Dreamscape" his noggin-- something." Liz says, "You know what Cass did. The dam inside Sam's head is gone, and all hell's spilling loose. We don't know what's going on inside." Dean says, "I don't care. We have got to do something!" Liz says, "And we will. But right now, we got 16 hours till they pop purgatory." Dean says, "Yeah, and how's that going, huh? We've got no line on Crowley. We got no line on Cass. Balthazar's M.I.A. I mean, all we've got is Sam going through whatever the hell this is!" Liz says, "You know... this is exactly what Cass wants-- for you to fall to pieces. Just try to think of what Sam would want." Dean softly says, "Find Cass, Liz. Find him now." Liz nods and softly says, "I'm working on it." Liz and Bobby walk in with a familiar face behind them. Her dad says, "Look what the cat dragged in." Balthazar says, "Well, at least you mudfish finally got the angel-proofing right. How's sleeping beauty? You didn't steal any kisses, I trust?" Dean says, "What the hell took you so long?" Balthazar says, "Honestly? I was having second thoughts." Dean says, "About?" Balthazar says, "About whether to help you. I was thinking maybe-- maybe I should rip out your sticky bits instead." Liz says, "And what did you decide?" Balthazar says, "Well..." Balthazar hands Dean an address and continues to say, "... Cass and Crowley are there. That's where the show gets started." Dean says, "All right, well, give us a minute to pack up and then zap us there." Balthazar says, "Oh, no, no, no, no. I don't think so." Dean says, "Balthazar." Balthazar says, "I'm betraying a friend here-- a very powerful friend. We all are. So I think I've stuck my neck put far enough already. Good luck." Then Balthazar disappears and they get ready to go. Later, they arrive where Cass and Crowley are and her dad says, "I counted a dozen mooks, probably more." Dean says, "Demons?" Her dad says, "Angels." Dean says, "Well, how the hell are we gonna take out that many angels?" Her dad says, "We don't. We'll ninja our way in." Dean says, "Awesome, yeah-- Till they hear your knee squeak." Her dad says, "Shut up." Dean says, "Oh, what, now you go thin skin?" Her dad says, "No, shut up. You guys hear that?" They hear rumbling and Liz says, "What the hell is that?" They see a puddle tremble and Dean says, "T. Rex, maybe?" Her dad sees something and says, "Holy mother of..." The couple turns to see what her dad sees and it's a whole lot of demons coming. Dean says, "Get in the car. Get in the car." The three of them get in the car and the demons flip the car over. Liz groans and Dean says, "Liz, you, okay?" Liz says, "I will be. Dad. Dad?" Her dad says, "Huh?" Liz sighs in relief that he's okay. Dean says, "Come on. We got to go." They walk in to see Crowley and Raphael doing the spell to open purgatory. Dean throws the angel blade at Raphael, but he catches it. Crowley then uses his powers and throws Bobby down the stairs, then he throws Dean against the wall, he then throws Liz over the banister, and she lands on a table with a groan. Crowley says, "Bit busy, gentlemen and lady. Be with you in a moment." Crowley then continues the spell, and nothing quite happens. Crowley says, "Mm-hm. Maybe I said it wrong." Castiel appears and says, "You said it perfectly. But what you needed was this." Castiel holds up a jar of blood and Liz and the boys stand up. Crowley says, "I see. And we've been working with..." Crowley goes to touch the wall and tastes it and continues to say, "Dog blood. Naturally." Raphael says, "Enough of these games, Castiel. Give us the blood." Crowley looks at Raphael and says, "You-- Game's over. His jar's empty. So, Castiel, how'd your ritual go? Better than ours, I'll bet." Castiel then looks down and the the floor shakes and they cover their eyes when they see a bright light. They uncover their eyes and Castiel says, "You can't imagine what it's like. They're all inside me-- millions upon millions of souls." Crowley says, "Sounds sexy. Exit stage Crowley." Crowley then disappears and Castiel says, "Now, what's the matter, Raphael? Somebody clip your wings?" Raphael says, "Castiel, please. You let the demon go... but not your own brother?" Castiel says, "The demon I have plans for. You, on the other hand..." Castiel snaps his fingers and Raphael explodes and Castiel looks at them and says, "So, you see... I saved you." Dean says, "You sure did, Cass. Thank you." Castiel says, "You doubted me... fought against me. But I was right all along." Dean says, "Okay, Cass, you were. We're sorry. Let's just defuse you, okay?" Castiel says, "What do you mean?" Dean says, "You're full of nuke. It's not safe. So, before the eclipse ends, let's get them souls back to where they belong." Castiel says, "Oh, no. They belong with me." Dean says, "No, Cass, I-it's scrambling your brain." Castiel says, "No, I'm not finished yet. Raphael had many followers, and I must... punish them all severely." Dean says, "Listen to me. Listen... I know there's a lot of bad water under the bridge. But we were family once. I'd have died for you. I almost did a few times. So if that means anything to you... please. I've already lost Sam, I don't wanna lose you too. You don't need this kind of juice anymore, Cass. Get rid of it before it kills us all." Castiel says, "You're just saying that because I won... because you're afraid. You're not my family, Dean. I have no family." Then Sam comes up behind Castiel and stabs him with an angel blade. Castiel takes the blade out and says, "I'm glad you made it, Sam. But the angel blade won't work, because I'm not an angel anymore. I'm your new God. A better one. So you will bow down and profess your love unto me, your lord... or I shall destroy you." They're all shocked and can't believe that Castiel's the new God.
