(A/N: If anyone saw or already read the latest chapter of the manga, chapter 248, then some parts of this chapter of my fic are inspired by the events such as the backstory of Mitsuya and Ran meeting for the first time in Roppongi. I just couldn't resist and incorporated that backstory in this one since it's a beautiful shot of Mitsuya fanboying over the Haitani brothers and their sense of style and Ran side eyeing Mitsuya like it was love at first sight lol. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this recent chapter as much as I did when I've written it).

The sewing sounds reverberated inside the four walls of the dressing room as Mitsuya sew the dress attentively in the sewing machine. It's just a few more alterations and adjustments and the wedding dress of Emma will be done in a few days.

Mitsuya was too focused on what he was doing that he accidentally pricked his finger on the needle that made him abruptly stop and hissed in pain.

"Fuck." He stood up and went to the sink to wash off the blood from his injured finger before he turned off the tap and reached for the small towel and reached for the first aid kit.

Upon rummaging inside the contents, a handkerchief fell from the table, and he reached for it before an exasperated sigh escaped from his lips upon remembering a recent event in his life that he'd rather forget.

He remembered Ran's lips pressing against his under the cold, starry night at the balcony.

It's been 3 days since that damn stag party, and he hadn't heard anything from him ever since.

But why did it feel like it was just yesterday when they kissed each other? Or rather the other surprised him with that sudden yet passionate kiss against his lips without a warning?

He could still feel a tingling sensation on his lips and a shiver running down his spine at the sparks of electricity running down his body upon feeling those warm and soft lips pressing against his invitingly.

It's not that he wanted it of course.

There was even a momentary spark of anger flashing within him as the guy stole his kiss out of whim because he's an asshole like that.

Nevertheless, he remembered a time when he didn't feel any repugnance and disgust to the man himself.

But it was a long time ago before things got complicated.

A festival in Roppongi that he and his sisters were attending was the one he couldn't forget at all.

"Where is mama? The fireworks are going to start soon onii-san." Luna whined as she looked over the crowd.

"Mama is already at the rooftop Luna and waiting for us. We just need to get there soon before the fireworks start so c'mon." Mitsuya urged her little sister gently and held her right hand while he held the left hand of Mana as they walked through the crowd.

A sigh slipped from his lips. With his miniature height and small frame, it proven difficult for Mitsuya to navigate along the sea of people especially if there were two younger siblings under his care.

They were still perusing through the crowd when a certain commotion happened through the other end of the street and the people parted similar to that scene in the bible where Moses held out his staff and God parted the sea to make him crossed over it.

Mitsuya and his siblings got curious and went through the commotion only to see the infamous Haitani brothers walking along the streets of the city in Roppongi. It was no secret that they're like celebrities in that area considering that their father was a famous city mayor, and their mother was a well-known business magnate in the industry and owns a chain of businesses in the area. Aside from coming a lineage of illustrious and well-known people, their looks could easily pass for a real celebrity and a model since they're pleasant looking in the eyes which also earned them a horde of fans.
