Louis' POV
Today is the first day of my job at a cafe named 'Bella's'. I had applied for it a week ago when I saw a sign of 'help wanted' stuck on a pole. I spent my day doing some chores here and there. My shift starts at 6 pm. At 5:30pm I take a nice, hot shower and dress up in a casual white tanktop and black ripped skinny jeans.
I ask mum to drop me off as she is home today. Ofcourse she says yes. I garb my wallet and phone and head out the door, with mum right behind me. "Bye guys!" I say to my sisters. "Bye Lou! Don't fall asleep on the counter!" Fizzy teases. I stick my tounge out at her playfully as mum chuckles. Me and mum get in the car and I turn on the radio. It is just a 15 minutes drive and there's no traffic so we reach just in time. "Bye Lou. All the best" Mum says kissing my cheek. "Thank you. Bye!" I say while wiping my cheek and getting out of the car.
The smell of coffee fills my nose as I enter the shop. "Hi. You must be Louis. I'm Liam." says the boy at the counter while shaking my hand. He seems about my age but is very nicely built. He has soft brown eyes and short brown hair. "Nice to meet you Liam." I say smiling. "So I'm your co worker and I'm supposed to help you around as it's your first day." Liam says handing me a dark brown apron.
The day goes by quickly. It consisted of Liam teaching me how to do all the stuff around the cafe, him introducing me to the staff, serving some coffee and spilling some of it on myself while doing so and doing some math for the customers who couldn't count their change. Me and Liam became pretty good friends in such a small amount of time. It actually surprised me. It must be my mischievous behaviour and his protective and motherly nature.
"Bye Liam!" I call out while hanging my apron on the stand. "Bye Lou" He says while sweeping the last part of the floor. I wave at him as I walk out of the door. Mum's already waiting outside. "How was your day Lou?" She asks as I enter the car. "It was nice. How was yours?" "Hectic. It's hard to manage the girls when your not home" "I'll take them to the playground tomorrow so you can have some 'me' time." I offer. "Oh you don't have to do that Lou." "I'll even ask Zayn to come" "Alright. Fine" Mum agrees and we head home. We stop to get ice cream for dessert. We reach home, have dinner, eat dessert and go to sleep. I still end up dreaming about a specific head of curly hair.
(AN: I AM SOO SORRY FOR NOT UPLOADING EARLIER [even though nobody's gonna read this shit :P] I KNOW THIS CHAPTER IS SHORT, I'VE JUST NOT HAD INSPIRATION FOR IT. I promise 5th capter will be better.
