"As you all know tomorrow is Sunday and we finished 'life processes' a week ago. So tomorrow I am keeping a 20 marks test."

The whole class shouted, "No!" Not together all at once but it was enough to show their disappointment.

"Come on guys it is not going to be that tough, besides I am saving you all from Praveen sir's extra lecture." Said our biology teacher.

It was 5:30 pm now. And I was sitting beside Rohit in our tuition classes.
Today's class was on the control and coordination system of the human body. It made me realise how much of my 10th standard biology I had forgotten. Tomorrow's test might prove to be difficult...it doesn't matter though, just one read would be enough to make me remember everything!

At the end of the class, everyone outside was looking at their phones to know the score of today's IPL match.

Rohit hit my back and said, "Hey, time traveller! Do you know who is going to win today's match? Mumbai Indians or Sunrisers Hyderabad?"

"First of all, don't be so loud! Second of all, how do you expect me to remember a match that happened 7 years ago? But I have a hunch that it was Mumbai Indians."

Rohit gave me a blank stare again, but after a few seconds, he said, "Alright, look it's not funny. It never was. Just admit that you lied to me, felt bad about it and are trying to convince me that you are from the future!"

"Look bro, I am not lying to you right now. I did lie about having read Varun's script but that's it. You don't believe me now but you will soon. Besides, you know I don't like pranks. And why would I make such a ruckus of a simple lie? Haven't you noticed weird and sudden changes in me from yesterday?"

Rohit sighed, then proceeded to stare at me for a few seconds, and said, "Fine...I believe you. You are my best friend, and you are not the kind of person who would play a prank on me like this. You did behave weirdly yesterday. The day before yesterday we were laughing about failing the board exams, but yesterday and today just felt different. I had this uncanny feeling coming off of you as if you were not you...but if what you are saying is right...It makes a bit sense...look if you are playing a prank on me, now is the time to stop. Because if after a few days you tell me it was a prank, I'm gonna kill you."

"I am not playing a prank on you, But I understand how you feel. I don't expect you to believe me right away, but I know that in time you will."

Rohit smiled and said, "Well, then it would be fun to have a time traveller as a friend."

"Yeah, we're gonna have so much fun!"

Looking back now. Rohit and I had a lot of fun together during our 10th standard. Countless study sessions, spent more in playing than studying, going on night rides in Mridul bhaiya's scooty, It is still hard to believe that I am here. I just hope Rohit understands, and accepts the fact that I am from the future,,,and doesn't go to war.

After that, I went home, opened my book and studied for tomorrow's test. It didn't take me much time as I had already done this before. Parts of it were always there in my brain and I just needed to read my notes once...or maybe I was just overconfident. After that, I went to have dinner and started watching the match with my dad.

My dad is one of the most chill human beings you will ever meet, except if it's about studies. He is a financial consultant at a stock exchange. But yeah, surprisingly chill about things.

"136 is not going to be a big deal for Sunrisers." He said, drinking his fizzy drink which looked suspiciously like vodka, but he couldn't be drinking it that easily though, and he preferred beer anyways.

"Maybe, but I don't think MI is going to let them win very easily."
The second innings were about to start.

My mom was scrolling on her phone, but then she stopped suddenly, looked at me and said,"Anirudh, you have a test tomorrow morning at 8:30?"
