"Hm? What's this... "Diary"?" she said.

Dear diary, Tuesday 23rd.
Hello diary, my name is Amy Marie Miller, and I recently moved here. I would love to be formally introduced but let me get you up to date. I used to live in the neighboring town, just where all the villas are. But now that I have moved, my mother requested I get a diary. I doubted her at first, but I have always been told I am good at writing, so I thought I would give it a shot. I am sixteen, and I go to Seawood public high school. I just moved here last week, so I could not write any entries before now, so I apologize. I started school yesterday, but I already have a good bunch of friends. One of my best friends, ??????, from my old school moved too, so we are in the same school. Although I am in 11B, and they are in 11A. When I woke up this morning, I had my usual breakfast (consist of a sandwich and a glass of milk.), then I was off to school. The way to school was normal too, even if I have not memorized it. I usually meet up with ?????? on the way to school, so I stayed there to wait for her. She showed up, as per usual. We shared a few words, then we continued our way. It is lucky we share a way to school, as going without her would be lonely. You might be wondering why I am writing so formally; it is because I need to be more poetic for my English grades. I am trying to be top in my class, and even the entire grade. I have memorized a poem that got me a B+, and I will write it here.
"The leaves fall, and the weather is clear. You feel yourself drift away into your imagination, feeling soft, and free."
I do not think it was that good, but it got me good grades, so I am happy about that. Sorry for the rambling, I will get back on track now. I reached school, so naturally, me and ?????? had to part ways since we have different classes. First and second period went just as normal, and then we got dismissed for lunch. I went out to the garden, where I usually eat my lunch with my friends. Speaking of, let me introduce you. We have Elijah, Skye, Moriah, and of course, ??????. I am currently in the garden, writing this as I wait for them. I hear them, so let me just finish this by telling you a bit about ??????. They have been my best friend since kindergarten, so I care about them a lot. They have been with me through thick and thin, so I have never struggled with trusting them. They mean a lot to me. My friends are here now, so I need to go. Goodbye diary.

Dear diary, Saturday 3rd.
Where is my best friend?
Dear diary, Friday 16th.
She was here just last month.
Dear diary, Wednesday 21st.
??????...?
Dear diary.
No one believes that she exists. Please. You're the only one. Elijah, Moriah, Skye, none of them. PLEASE.
"...none of them. PLEASE." She read, from what was left of the diary. "It's in bad condition, gosh I didn't think I would ever find it." She remarked. "Well, I, Amy M. Miller, take an oath that I will find my friend!" She said, still reading from her old diary. "It's been months since she disappeared, but this old junk isn't telling me anything! It won't even tell me her name, it's scribbled over!" Amy fussed, sweeping through her old room. "Ever since he moved out, this room has been untouched when I got his. But NOTHING here even points me in a direction to what happened??!!" She stared at the picture frame hanging from the wall. "..." She hesitantly walked towards it. "Please don't be broken." She repeated while whispering under her breath, too scared to look up at it. Picking up the cracked frame, Amy saw what was left of her best friend. "No... Why is it broken?!" She exclaimed, almost waking up her parents. "Shit, forgot it was late." She quietly said. 'Ever since she disappeared, I've been talking to myself too often.' She thought.
