TWO WEEKS LATER
Erica had been feeling way better than she should've. After getting the all-clear from her doctor she knew she would be having some fun this weekend. Standing in the bathroom she put the finishing touches on her makeup.
Dressed in tight black leather pants and an emerald green top she was ready to go. Her close friends Deja and Carter would be here any minute. Joshua was in the living room playing with his video games.
He watched as she came into the living room digging in her purse, "Where are you going?"
Looking up from her bag she met his eyes, "Out with my friends. It's Friday night. Aren't you going out?"
He shook his head no. Josh had to look away from her. If his eyes stayed on her body too long he would feel his dick getting hard. Erica shrugged her shoulders before walking to the door, "I'll see you later."
Deja was honking the horn as Erica exited the building, "Bitch, if you don't stop! I'm right here."
"Hey boo!" Carter shouted from the passenger seat.
"Heyyy." Erica got into the car.
"Whose place is this? Shit is huge." Deja asked pulling off onto the road.
"One of Melo's places. Y'all know he had to hook me up until I go back to Cali."
The girls didn't question her answer. The ride to the club was short. The women entered and Erica was taken aback at what she saw. Dancers hung from the ceilings, bottle girls were coming from everywhere, and the music was louder than her own thoughts.
"This looks like something you'd see in Vegas."
"Don't even worry about it. You'll get used to it." Carter pulled her to the bar.
"Whatchu drinking?" Deja asked moving her hair to the left side of her body.
Erica shook her head, "I don't drink."
Carter laughed, "Tonight you are."
Two hours later Erica was dancing in their section faded as fuck. Carter had been buying them rounds of shots but on top of her other drinks, Erica knew she'd gone way too far. The liquid courage was building in her body.
"Y'all ready to go. I got work in the morning?" Deja asked drinking from a water bottle.
"Why did you ask us out if you have to work?" Erica laughed at her own words.
Carter waved her off gathering their things. Deja and Carter helped carry Erica to the car. She wasn't pissy drunk but she was off the walls. Erica leaned back into her seat feeling the night air as they drove.
By the time she made it up the elevator and into the condo, she had sobered up a little bit. She stumbled as she entered. Joshua was in the kitchen eating. He was always eating. Erica tossed her bag on the couch.
"Baby, I'm home!" She yelled before laughing.
"What are you talking about now?" Josh entered the room.
"Hi, Josh." Erica's every were red and low.
"Did you have fun?"
Erica nodded her head before throwing herself at him. He caught her body and grimaced at the alcohol on her breath. His arm was wrapped around her waist as her arms gripped his shoulders.
"You know I didn't like you at first. But you're a really nice guy. Did you know you're protective of me? I see the way you look at me. You're fine as hell though." Erica smiled at him again.
"Yeah, it's time for you to go to sleep." Joshua lifted her onto the couch.
"I don't want to go to sleep. I want you." Her eyes flickered to his in lust.
His mouth widened at her sudden words. Erica took it a step further feeling on his dick through his sweats. He moaned at her touch before gripping her arm, "Stop you're drunk."
"I don't care. Please, Joshua. I haven't seen one girl come through here and satisfy you. I can do that." She gripped the sweatpants strings.
"I can't. You cannot consent to this. Plus, the next time I want you to be sober. I want you to feel all of me." Releasing his grip from her he left her in the room.
Erica felt bad as she sobered up quickly. His bedroom door shut and she took the time to enter the bathroom and get herself together. Thinking about his last words her skin became hot. What had she gotten herself into?
The next morning she was up before Joshua was. She had taken Rose on a walk before coming back in. Erica got his breakfast ready. She watched him too many times like clockwork. He was a simple person.
"Good morning." Josh smiled innocently at her.
Still shaken up from their previous night she smiled back, "Hi, Josh. I made your breakfast."
"You eating today?" He asked taking the bowl from her.
"Nope. Listen I wanted to talk about last night. I shouldn't have come onto you like that. I was drunk and that was irresponsible of me. I understand if you want me to leave. " Erica picked at the polish on her nails.
"Nah don't worry about it. I know you're in a vulnerable place."
Erica's heart sank at his words, "Wait, I've been going to therapy though. Of course, Melo forced me to go but..."
"But what?" Josh asked cluelessly.
"I know some of the stuff I said was true last night. We could use each other to blow off some steam while I'm here." Erica bit her lip waiting for his response.
"I don't know, E. LaMelo is my friend and it's kind of wrong to do that."
"Just think about it okay. It can be fun. No strings attached." Erica kissed his cheek before retreating to the bathroom.
