The seven were in a meeting with their manager.As usual there was a lot of messing around but as the meeting came to an end,Hobi spoke up," so what ship is in the headlines this week?"
"Jikook still at number one, although since you and Tae were spotted out last week Jungkook there have been a few more Taekook ships."
Tae and Jungkook fist bumped," hey maybe we can hang out more for real, your more adventurous than Jiminee." Jungkook said .
Jimin's heart took a downward swoop.Why did he care so much he thought, Jungkook had never seen him in any other way than as a fellow band mate , he only played along with the ship as the manager said that all the positive comments people made about Jikook kept them in the news.
"I think Taekook should take over, I don't want to do this for fans anymore," Jimin murmured.
Jungkook stared at the small boy in surprise, he thought the other liked what they did for fans.
"Hmmm, Jimin they may not take it so well," their manager said.
"Why not? Tae and Kookie are more believable than me and Kookie."
"Jimin, don't go putting yourself down, you are a beautiful person inside and out." Jin said.
"Ha,ok ,we'll I've got to go I have an appointment," Jimin said nodding to the manager and rushing out of the meeting.
Jungkook stared after him, what an earth was up with Jimin?
The manager told them to keep up the good work and that they could leave.
Walking down the corridor they were all chatting.
"Kook we should maybe,' be seen' going out somewhere?"Tae said excitedly glad that now he would be in the limelight more, he had never understood why fans shipped Jimin with Jungkook, he was much more handsome wasn't he? He had felt put out that he had to play the part of good friend only to Jimin, yes of course he liked Jimin but he also liked being the centre of attention and that right now was with Jungkook.
"Eager aren't we?" Muttered Suga .
"What?"
"You seem keen to demolish Jikook?"
Tae frowned at that," it's not real you know and Jimin said he didn't want it!"
Jungkook again felt a pang in hearing those words., ok so it was a game fans played, but he rather enjoyed it with Jimin, he was easily embarrassed going red when Jungkook pushed the boundaries, yes Tae was more adventurous and outgoing and he liked hanging with him, but with Jimin he felt like he was the older more dominant one,he liked that.
They all got into cars this time Tae got in with Jungkook instead of Jimin and the whole journey was spent with Tae jabbering about what they could do together .
Suga sat in a car with Hobi." He's oblivious isn't he?"
"Poor Jimin, Jungkook never sees how much he hangs onto his every word , checks he's ok, rushes to him, when he's hurt."
"I hope Jimin will be ok, he looked dejected earlier "
The pair sighed, they had both along with Jin secretly shipped Jikook too, hoping the maknae would one day see that for Jimin there was no pretence.
Arriving at the dorm they walked in to find Jimin going out carrying a bag," er hi guys I'll see you later, I thought I'd practice then go to the gym, I seem to look chubby in the latest photos." He walked out.
Junkook frowned, he knew Jimin struggled with his self image and sometimes he took it too far actually passing out from not eating.
"Maybe I should go keep an eye on him?" He said
"Kook he's a grown man, let's go out to a coffee shop and be seen," Tae whined.
Suga huffed and glared at Tae who just ignored him.
"I'll go, Jimin can help me I'm not that good at the new routine." RM went and got some things and left.
For some reason Jungkook felt uncomfortable about this but then Tae pulled him outside to go get coffee and he went along with it.
Jimin was sweating, he'd concentrated hard on getting his movements perfect, RM had been with him for over an hour and was sweating hard too.
"That's enough Jimin come on let's go back I'm starving "
"I'm going down to the gym,"
"Don't be silly you will tire yourself out."
"No I'm ok, I just....., I need to do this,"
"Jimin, you can't hide away when things trouble you, is it Jungkook?"
"What...,no Erm, maybe, hell I'm stupid aren't I?"
"No , your loving and giving,"
"Well why can't he see that?"
"Because you don't know what you have until you lose it."
"Do you mean I should stop wasting my time in him,"
"I mean...., make him realise who you are, don't rush to his aid, or to get him things make him realise how much you do for him and if he doesn't, then find someone who deserves you."
Jimin pondered in RM's words, he nodded," your right there comes a point when I don't want to just be shipped by fans I want it to be real but not at the expense of myself, today is the day I take care of me and my wants, how do you fancy coming clubbing with me tonight?"
"I say let's make someone jealous!"
The pair grinned, picked up their stuff and went back to the dorm.
Once there they showered and had something to eat sitting and discussing where they should go that night .
Tae and Jungkook walked in," we were photographed by fans and some media" Tae smirked waiting for a reaction from the others who were seated around but getting none.
"So can I come to Jimin?" Suga asked overhearing their conversation .
"You going somewhere? Where to are we all going?" Jungkook asked.
"No just me Suga and RM, I think that's enough of us for one night," Jimin said not even looking at Jungkook.
Jungkook stared in surprise usually Jimin never said no to him.
"But, I like clubs too," he moaned.
"We'll go to another one, it's not like we are joined at the hip, I'm going for a sleep ready for our night out," Jimin spoke to Suga and Rm who nodded.
Jimin walked off to his room, Jungkook watching him go.
"Is he ok?" He asked RM.
"Yes,why?" RM asked pretending not to know what was going on.
"Well it's just, he doesn't normally do things without me?"
"Do you include him in everything you do Jungkook? Jin asked.
"Well no, but,"
"So why all the worry now if he's doing what you do?" Suga smirked.
" come in Kook let's go play games together," Tae tried dragging the maknae to his room but Jungkook shrugged him off, Tae had been a little too poverwhelming today and he'd had enough of him.
"Sorry Tae, I think I'm going to doze in my room," he walked away leaving a frustrated Tae behind.
"Why does everyone care what Jimin does?!?" He said angrily .
"Maybe you should ask yourself why you don't care and why your so self obsessed," Suga muttered before going to watch tv.
Tae stomped off angrily, he was just trying to do what management wanted wasn't he? A different ship, so what if it got him noticed more he deserved it!
Jimin unaware of all this had fallen asleep in his room while Jungkook lay back on his bed wondering why he felt so unsettled at that moment.
