Never first place

Facing our future

The two woke up late the next morning after a long dreamless sleep.
"I feel so relaxed," Jimin mumbled
"Me too,"
"We should get up,"
"Yeh,"
"In a minute ,"
"Yeh,"
"Maybe five,"
"Yeh,"
"Soon,"
"Yeh,"
"After we fuck,"
"Yeh....,hey what!"
"Just seeing if you were paying attention come on get up,"
"Aw Jimin can't we....."
"No too late get up,"
Jimin went and washed up then came back and dressed while Jungkook used the bathroom. He made toast and sliced fruits and himself tea while putting out banana milk for Jungkook. They sat and ate then cleaned up.
"Let's walk along the beach,"
"Ok I'll take my camera too."
They walked along Jungkook snapping away they walked the length of the beach and came upon a tiny cafe up a slope , walking in they ordered coffees and sat outside drinking.
"Kookie,"
"Hmmm?"
"When shall we tell the others?"
"When we get back?"
"You sure? Last chance to jump ship?"
"Don't even joke like that Jimin your mine ,"
"Sorry Kookie, it's just that eight years I've wanted to be with you and now it's happening I feel like something will take it away."
"Nothing will take it away, come on drink up we have to walk back."
They walked back and sat on the sofa for a while watching comedy shows, suddenly Jumins phone rang.
"Hello? Oh yes sir, what, how?oh ok, sure right now, No should be fine."
Jimin put his phone down and stood up," we gotta pack up and go," he sighed.
"Why we have until tomorrow ?"
"The waitress at the restaurant called management to say a reporter was there last night and he saw our signatures, he's been back questioning them asking if we are staying round here so she got worried for our safety."
"Damn, ok let's pack up,"
It didn't take long to pack up then clean the place after loading the car Jimin locked up leaving the key in the agreed place before driving off for the journey home.
It was early evening when they arrived but no one else was home as tomorrow was when they were due back.
Jimin clicked his neck as it was sore from driving Jungkook seeing this steered him to his bedroom making him lay on his stomach , he then gave Jimin a massage easing his tense neck and shoulders enjoying his moans of relief," you sound like I'm fucking you,"
"I wish,"Jimin mumbled only to be flipped over and kissed ruthlessly," your wish is my command "he said making Jimin chuckle, before the room was eventually filled with moans and gasps of pleasure as the two indulged themselves.
The evening drew in and the pair were lounging eating take away pizza and sat curled up together when the door opened and  Tae came crashing in  looking at the pair curled up together before saying,
"Rules of the house , remember some of us are single do not snog in front of us, don't be loud when your fucking and don't go asleep on an argument!"
The pair looked at each other and chuckled," so your ok with it?" Jimin asked.
"Sure what's for supper?"
They congregated in the kitchen where the other two let Jungkook cook.
"Why you back before you need to be?" Jimin asked
"I figured come back now I can lie in Tomorrow, you?"
Jimin explained  the phone call.
"Ah nice of waitress to call management though,"
"Yes, she was very kind the night we went out,"
Suddenly the door opened and the rest of the group walked in.
"Hey guys your all back early?"
"Yer,Erm Jimin have you seen the internet?"
"What? No,"
He got his phone out and looked to see what was going on . His face became pale and his hand shook. He walked off to his room.
"What is it what happened?" Jungkook demanded.
RM showed him.
Two famous band members in a date? Jimin and Jungkook were seen out in xxxxx restaurant last night where they seemed very cosy. There have long been rumours of Jimin being gay but has he now ' infected' his band mate Jungkook who has a huge female following. This reporter was there at the restaurant and it sickened me to see Jimin displaying gay tendencies to his band mate let's hope Jimin is excluded from the group so he doesn't infect the others.
Jungkook fumed" that homophobic shit what right does he have to print that." He rushed off to Jimin while the others discussed a course of action .
Jimin sat on a windowsill in his room staring out into the dark night. Jungkook walked over to him.
"Jimin?"
"Do I really deserve that much hate?...... can I never have happiness, I should have known it was too good to last."
"You ignore that homophobic shit, he's not a good reporter he's just putting his swing on things."
"But it's out there and it will taint you all maybe he's right, if I quit it stops the bad rumours."
"You are not quitting, you have done nothing wrong."
Jimin just gave a sad smile," Kookie do you mind, I want to be on my own tonight."
"Jimin....."
"Please Kookie,"
Jungkook nodded although he didn't like it and got up and left walking back to the others.
"Jimin?" RM asked
"Wants to quit for the good of the band,"
"Hell no,"
"No way"
"No chance"
"We are not letting that dick rule us"
Jungkook was pleased at their reaction glad of the support," guys I want to put our point of view across but I understand if you can't be there, I'm gonna ask management to call a press meeting first thing and also have that shitty reporter there."
"I'll call management now, I'll go I don't mind being there," RM said.
"Count us in," the rest yelled.
"What about Jimin?"
"He should come with us but wait in a back room he doesn't need to be targeted," Jungkook said.
The rest nodded and the plans were laid down.
The next morning breakfast was quiet, RM told Jimin the plans and he agreed to go with them but also said if the opinion went downhill he would walk in and resign.
The group travelled to the meeting place, Jimin waited in a room with a tv, he looked pale and exhausted and wondered if this was his last day as a group member
The item was going out live and their were many press there, also outside the building fans surrounded the place, someone obviously letting out the group was there.
RM started," ladies and gentlemen thank you for coming today, we would just like to address an item that was put out by a certain press member yesterday."
"Are you denying my story? Is Jimin being made to quit?" The showy reporter shouted out pleased to let it be known that he wrote the story.
"Jimin has no reason to quit."
"He's encouraging homosexuality!"
"Jimin like you me and everyone else here has a right to live anyone he wants."
"Oh please..., your telling me as a leader your ok with this," the reporter shouted glad to be the centre of attention.
"Actually yes I am, we totally stand for LGBTQ rights so it would be hypocritical to not allow it wouldn't it?"
"B-but, homosexuality is not good,"
"Sir, love of any kind is good you can't label people you don't agree with." This earned some cheers making the reporter mad.
"Your fans will not support you!!"
Jungkook stood up, " we love our fans and we are confident that if they are true fans they will support us no matter what, we cannot make the world move faster than it does, different lifestyles are now accepted in many different countries and hopefully will be here one day too, but I'm not going to apologise for who I am..., I'm gay and I love Park Jimin."
Murmurs went around the media then the same reporter stood up," huh seems like your boyfriend hadn't got the guts to stand with you he's probably ashamed of the disgrace he's brought in the group!"
"Excuse me sir...., I'm not ashamed, I have no reason to be, I love Jungkook and I will never apologise for that, I have the support of my band mates and hopefully fans, it's despicable people like you who can't move with the times that should be shut down," Jimin strode towards the others pulling Jungkook to him and kissing him passionately, cameras flashed some cheers went up and Jungkook whispered in Jimins ear," that's my boy!"
Two hours later and the internet was buzzing apart from a few bad remarks there were mainly positive comments, lots of 'well  done' and 'stand up for your rights, and 'we love you '
Jimin and Jungkook sat together happily, " we've done it now, your stuck with me," Jungkook said smiling.
"Can't think of anything better," Jimin said kissing his partner.
"Ew! Get a room!" Tae said laughing causing the rest of the group to chuckle along with him.
Six months later
Jungkooks hands were sweating with nerves, it was Jimins birthday and they were doing their last concert for the time being.
"I'm so fucking nervous," he murmured to RM
"You'll be ok," RM patted him on the back and they went back on stage .
"So guys it's someone's birthday today!" RM shouted
Cheers and calls of Jimin rang out, Jimin shyly waved and smiled as Happy birthday was sung, suddenly loud screams and cheers rang out and Jimin turned to see Jungkook on one knee.
"Jimin, your the love of my life, my soulmate my other half, will you make me the happiest person and marry me?"
Jimin cried tears of happiness shouting" yes!!"
The whole stadium erupted as the pair kissed and hugged.
"I love you Jiminee!"
"I love you too !!"
The pair held hands for the last song joy in their every move, finally facing the future together in the way they wanted.
