Test the waters

It had been a month since that day and Jimin didn't know if he was imagining it or not but Jungkook seemed to be around him a lot more than usual in their spare time.
If Jimin was going shopping he normally went with Tae or Hobi, but now Jungkook who wasn't a keen shopper stepped in saying things like he needed a new top or boots or anything Jimin mentioned.
He also noticed Jungkook would take his camera everywhere taking candid shots.
Today they were walking around a museum Jimin had wanted to go to, he knew Jungkook wasn't interested so had been surprised at him accompanying him.
"Kookie, I know your not interested in this so why come?"
"Well it's because you can look all this stuff up online why come here?"
"It's not the same as seeing it in person, but you didn't have to come and why are you taking pictures of me and not the pieces?"
"Your very photogenic Jimin,"
"But you've taken loads of me, get a better subject,"
"Ah,Jimin why when your perfect from head to toe,"
"Oh stop it, you sound like you fancy me!!!"
Jungkook pulled Jimins wrist swinging him around to face him," what if I do?"
Jimin stared in shock at the other then giggled,
"phew I thought you meant it then,stop playing around!"
He turned away and carried on walking his heart beating fast at the thought of it.
Jungkook caught up with him and linked their hands.
"Come on let's go somewhere for coffee I'm bored here,"
He tugged Jimin along, laughing at his expression soon both were giggling as they walked out of the gloomy museum into the bright sunshine.
Still holding hands they went into a coffee shop placed their orders and sat at an outside table.Jimin lifted his face up to the sun, heard a click as Jungkook took a photo.
"Let me see!"
Jungkook showed him the photo and Jimin was surprised at how good it was," wow your very good at this you could have been a professional."
"Thanks but your a good subject,"
"Ha! Imagine if you used someone like Tae who is so handsome or Jin, now they would make exceptional photos."
"Why them and not you?"
"Eh, we'll it's obvious, I'm well ,mediocre looking but everyone knows how handsome they are you could take portrait photos ."
"Stop it!"
"Huh?"
"Stop putting yourself down!" Jungkook said angrily.
Jimin bit his lip upset he'd made Jungkook angry,
"Im sorry I didn't mean to spoil the day and make you angry,Erm, I'll go now you go enjoy yourself,"
He rushed away before Jungkook could stop him, Jungkook put his camera away and hurried out but there was no sign of Jimin.
Jungkook cursed, he had forgotten how Jimin was so sensitive to anger, Jimin always tried to calm the boys down when they argued over minor things, he stopped it before it escalated. It came from when Jimin was younger and got bullied about his weight and looks, it affected him deeply and now he hated raised voices.
Jungkook walked along searching around, he came to a park and decided to go in. Flowers bloomed everywhere and large trees gave shade from the heat of the sun.
Under one tree he saw a small figure sat hugging his knees...Jimin.
He walked silently over to see Jimin twisting his fingers in anxiety and biting his lip.
"I'm sorry Jimin for shouting,"
Jimin jumped he hadn't heard Jungkook come over.
"It's ok, I seem to have a knack for spoiling things, you don't have to apologise."
"You did nothing wrong it's just when you put yourself down....., it hurts me."
Jimin looked astonished," it does?"
"Mmhhhm, you have such a great personality and your cute and so unaware of your attraction."
Jimin giggled nervously," ah Kookie I'm getting embarrassed."
Jungkook looked around and saw that they were well hidden from prying eyes so he leaned in attaching his lips to Jimins and kissing him gently," your a beautiful person Jimin and I like you."
"Well er Um thank you I like you too, but you didn't have to kiss me."
"No I didn't have to but I wanted to."
He pulled Jimin up laced his fingers with Jimins and they walked home, Jimins heart doing somersaults at Jungkooks closeness.
That set the standard, from then in when the two met in the mornings they would hug, if a seat wasn't available jungkook sat Jumun on his lap, sometimes he'd catch Jimin unawares by pressing a kiss on his neck from behind in passing.Jimin didn't know what was going on but he liked it.
The time came where the group had a few days off.
RM was going biking, Suga was travelling to a music studio away from seoul to test out some songs he was writing, Tae was travelling to a fashion show abroad, Hobi was going to spend time away with his sister, Jin had booked himself onto a cookery class mikes away, Jungkook was going to stay at the dorm as a base for a video learning course and Jimin was going to go home to his family.
On the first day everyone had left bar Jimin to go and do their thing. Jimin was just finishing his packing when his phone rang.
"Hey mum, is everything ok I was just about to leave,"
"Er about that Jumun, look I'm really sorry but your dad and I have to visit your aunt she's had a fall and needs help around the house, so we won't be here."
"Oh,ok....., I can do stuff around here, don't worry give my love to aunt."
Jimin rang off and started unpacking his case wondering what he should do now. Walking into his room he opened his closet time for a major sort out he thought.
As the day wore in his room resembled a charity shop, there were piles of clothes to give to charity, some that he thought needed throwing out and a pile to go back in his closet.
He went to the kitchen to find some plastic bags for the rubbish clothes and opening cupboards he saw someone had put them on the highest shelf, Damn !
Leaving the cupboard doors open where he'd looked he grabbed a seat and climbed up.
Jungkook made his way into the dorm, he heard a clattering, what the heck , they had an intruder! Putting his bag down he quietly made his way to where the noise came from which seemed to be the kitchen, he looked in quickly seeing doors opened everywhere then a chair placed near a work surface which it looked like the intruder had climbed onto because he could see feet below the cupboard door.
He could do this he thought letting out an almighty yell and charging in.
Jimin had to climb onto the worktop to reach the bags, being small was so annoying! He had just reached up when an angry yell caught him by surprise. As if in slow motion he turned seeing Jungkook charging over, his foot slipped and he felt himself falling off the worktop falling over the chair only to be caught in two strong arms and pulled into a muscly chest before both fell to the floor.
"Jimin!Jimin are you ok?!?!"
Jimin felt like his breath had been knocked from him. He realised he was underneath Jungkook.
"H-hi........can you let me up?"
Jungkook realised his whole weight was in the boy, he got up quickly helping the other.
"What are you doing here? And what's going on?"
Jimin explained, about his parents, cleaning his closet and the bags. He was mortified when Jungkook just reached up and grabbed them.
He thanked him and walked to his room Jungkook following.
"Hell Jimin, it looks like a bombs hit the place let me help you."
With two of them the room was sorted in no time, Jimins closet tidy, rubbish thrown out and charity bags picked up by members of staff .
"Thanks that would have taken me ages."
"No problem, I'm gonna shower,"
"Me too, aah!"
"What?"
"Nothing,"
"Jimin?!?!"
"Ok,ok, I caught my back on something when I fell,"
"Let me see,"
"No it's ok,"
Before Jimin realised his top was pulled up and over his head and thrown to the side. Jungkook ran his fingers over Jimins back where a bruise had formed. His touch made Jimin shiver and a small moan came from his mouth which Jungkook heard and Jimin pressed his hands to his mouth to try and conceal, Jimin was swung around his hands taken from his mouth," Don't hide your pretty moans from me ,"  Jungkook growled before fastening his lips onto Jimins in an all consuming kiss.
