"time for the eurostar," none of them wanted to admit it, but they were all afraid of this. they were never too sure that they would've gotten this far, it wasn't part of the plan either. they wouldn't be able to run from the guards at this place if it got to this point, but they came too far to back out now. whatever happens now, happens. they will get through it together.

tommy took the lead all the way to the registering desk, it was empty, but that was expected from what time it was and the fact many people pre-buy their ticket to skip this step. ranboo had to be the one to speak considering he was the 'older brother' of the two. "three youth tickets please," he asked confidently. he had the three passports on top of one another in his hand to give over to the worker.

"let me just get a form of identification, it should usually be in and around £520 considering how close to the time it is, but since i don't like that rule i can give you three tickets for £196," she said nonchalantly as if she wasn't giving them a great amount of money off, it wasn't like they couldn't afford the full price, but it still helped them a major amount.

"that would be amazing, yeah," tommy said and ranboo gave her their identifications, while she studied that he took the needed cash out to pay. he hoped it didn't look suspicious that he was paying in cash, but she didn't seem like the type to care luckily. "we have five bags with us, that alright?" he was sure it was all okay, but wanted to double check. thankfully it was okay and they didn't need to abandon anything.

"we will go through an x-ray machine, while you go through a metal detector, but the only limits we have are on loose blades with no open blades, unless it's a pocket knife under 8cm with a locking mechanism," she explained and seemed to have remembered the code book from cover to cover. it was like she said the same thing hundred of times a day- she probably did.

ranboo was quick to take out his pocket knife and used his fingers to check the length before putting it along with his phone in the basket,he found that it was just under 8cm, so they were all good to go and he didn't have to part with the beloved weapon.

the process to get through went by quite fast as not many people were going this early on a sunday, soon they were seated and in their own mini booth, tommy and tubbo on one side, and ranboo on the other.

they quickly departed and they couldn't really feel the speed they were going. "i've never left england before, this is so cool!" ranboo kneeled up on his seat and rested his arms on the small ledge by the window. "we are going on the eurostar a lot, alright boo?" he said in a fake threatening tone and left no time for an answer before he sat back down properly and turned to tommy.

"right, let's do some good ol' roleplay," that sentence earned a disgusted face from both tommy and ranboo. "you be tommy and i will be your dad," he put his finger sideways under his nose to mimic a mustache. "who are you?" he said in a really bad attempt of a deep voice.

"are we really doing this?" when tubbo didn't reply he looked at ranboo who just shrugged, you could tell that behind his mask he had a smile on. "oh," he gave in and sat up properly. "hello, i am tom simons, except i'm not because i'm your son, what am i supposed to say."

it was silently stressing him out for the whole trip, nagging him ever since they left the school gates, he managed to forget about it for a while- but now he is more nervous than ever.

"we will be by your side, big man," tubbo reminded him, "or you could go in alone if you want," tommy didn't think of that idea, but he thinks he would prefer if he was alone, he might cry so the less people that are there, the better.

"i think i want to be alone, maybe come to the door, but if they answer, maybe stay outside, if that's okay," he spoke quickly, something he only did when his nerves were acting up. he was starting to doubt if he was even their family. could this all be from nothing? tommy always liked to rush into things, but he feels like he should've held back on this one.

"sounds good, want to think about it closer to the time?" once tubbo got a nod, he moved the conversation on popping a red box of cards down on the table.

"how-" ranboo stopped his sentence, "i really shouldn't be surprised," he leaned back in the chair while tubbo dealt the cards for the start of a chaotic game.
