Y/n's POV:

Me and Leif are standing out side of Ceil's office and it's very nerve racking. I keep glancing at Leif wonder how she's taking all the information of being transported here. She looks like she's taking it well but I know that is probably not the case with... passed events.

She didn't take our any of our parents death's very well. I remember walking into a room hearing crashes, banging, and screaming. When I walked in she was in the middle of the room with broken items all around her. She looked so broken, shattered even. She even had her eye patch off. Her entire form was shaking vigorously ,whimpering and cries left her mouth through choked sobs. Her eyes would race around the room in a frantic manner like she was try to out run something but she was glued in her spot. I would have to comfort her whenever she had episodes like this but some of them were so hard to get here to focus ,it would end up when she'd have to work through it herself without my help.

But that's the past and things can change...

I felt Leif nudge me and motioned me to follow her. There was an overwhelming amount of tension in the air when walking into the office. It felt like my voice was trapped in my throat when I made eye contact with Ceil whom was sitting at his desk, Sebastian at his right hand. He looked older than he did in both the manga and anime. He looked around our age. This only fueled my anxiety more. Leif griped my shoulder and whispered. "I'll do the talking if you want Y/n." Softly smiling like the one a mother give a child seeing them soundly asleep. I quickly nodded to the offer not wanting to make myself look like a fool in front of the young Earl. Then she released here grip on my shoulder.

"So why wasn't I informed that we would be having two interviews today Sebastian." Ceil's monotone voice echoed off the walls slightly. Leif answer before Sebastian pronounce anything. "I'm sorry m'lord, that would be our fault we forgot to write letter's to your manor. Our deepest and humblest apologies Earl Phantomhive." She bowed with her hand over her heart, so I made a quick motion to do the same. I nearly face planted on the carpeted floor doing so. "Ahem. So you both are applying and maids? what can you do for me." Ceil broke the silence. His arms laid on the desk looking at us in slight confusion; probably because of our attire and style isn't common in this time period. "Well Earl Phantomhive we both can clean fairly decently, we're both hard working and will get the job done no matter how hard the task." Her pupil flashed a slit like shape then when back to normal. Her right side of her face being covered by bandages hiding her other eye and burn. She continued on from there looking him in his eyes with her own neutral expression,"Not only that sir but we can help out with many other tasks as well like cooking or even help you out with your studies. I have medical experience and my friend here is excellent at organizing supplies and schedule's." She concluded. I was grateful that I had a friend like her. I looked back a Ceil who looked like he was calculating the odds as his sapphire eye would shift to look to his right.

It was silent in the room Leif and Me were holding our breath's waiting for his answer. "You'll begin today, both of you. Sebastian make sure that the manor is prepared for the guest coming today. Make sure they're acquainted with their living quarters."

"Yes, my lord." Sebastian bowed and with that guided us to our quarter.

They separated us, I was near the servant quarters. Leif? Who knows where she could be placed in this labyrinth! When walking into the room I saw a maid outfit laid down on the bed that was provided.
