Damiano's POV
Confetti was falling and the crowd was cheering. It was everything I've ever wanted.
The stage, the music, the lights, the love. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would get to live through this, especially with my best friends and the girl that I loved.I watched her dance to the last song as she picked the strings of her favorite bass.
She looked so powerful, so angelic. That girl was doing her last names justice. Soon enough I started singing the lyrics For Your Love but all I could think about was her.I'd written the song way before we even said 'I love you' for the first time. When I joined the band, she was the main reason I stayed. I loved singing regardless but without her it wouldn't have been the same. She was so perfect. With her, everything made sense.
When the song came to an end, the crowd was cheering even louder and it felt like a fever dream. Nothing could ever come close to that feeling of happiness and pride. None of us had ever imagined coming this far with our music, let alone play entire arenas filled with people that love our music even more than we do.
"Thank you guys so much for coming and spending the night with us. It really means a lot to all of us. Good night and get home safe, we love you!" I thanked the fans and we slowly left to go backstage.
"Tonight was sick!" Thomas exclaimed happily as he grabbed a bottle of cold water out of the mini fridge.
"I agree. I don't think the crowd has ever been this loud before" Ethan replied and we all agreed.
"Soo is anyone up for a night out? We could go to a pub" Victoria suggested."Yeah sure, why not?" I said and she gave me a big smile.
In all honesty, I was way way too exhausted to go drinking but I didn't want to upset Vic so I just agreed to come along. Ethan and Thomas wanted to go back to the hotel though. All they really told us was that they needed to catch some sleep since our next flight was at 5am the following day. While the two boys packed up their things and drove back to the accommodation we were staying at, Victoria and I called a cab to take us to the next pub. The driver didn't recognize us at first but, when the radio started playing Zitti e Buoni, he gave the both of us weird looks, as if he knew exactly who we were in that moment.
I let out a small giggle and so did Vic.
As she leaned her head against my shoulder, I wrapped an arm around her and only a few moments later, she fell asleep. The lights on the street shined bright and the bags under her eyes became even more noticeable but to me she'd never looked more beautiful.
