"Abre los ojos. Open your eyes." Alma cooed, as your wings flapped excitedly, seeing the magical candle, and your brother figeted next to you.
"This is the candle that gave us our Miracle?" (Y/N) asked as Alma pulled the twins closer to her. "Sì. Long ago, when my three babies had just been born, your Abuelo Pedro and I were forced to flee our home, and though many joined us, praying to find a new home, we could not escape the dangers and tu abuelo was lost. But in our darkest moments, we were given a miracle. The candle became a magical flame that could never go out, and it blessed us with a refuge in which to live. A place of wonder." "El Encanto!" (Y/N) breathed, cuddling closer to her.
"El Encanto!" She nodded, continuing her story. "The mircle grew, and our house, our Casita itself came to life to shelter us. When my children became of age, the miracle blessed each with a magic Gift to help us."
"And they got magic too!" Camilo grinned, making Alma smile.
"Yes, that's right. When their children came of age, they were given a gift as well. And together, our family's Gifts have made our new home a paradise."
(Y/N)'s wings fluttered gently,watching the candle's flames sparkle.
"Tonight, this candle will give you your Gift, mis amores. Strenghten our community, strengthen our home. Make your family proud." Alma ran a hand through Camilo's curls and cupped (Y/N)'s cheek.
"We will make our family proud, Abuela." Casita shot an alarm clock around the floorboards, telling the three it was time. "Oh! Casita's right! It's time, it's time!" Abuela chuckled as (Y/N) and Camilo pulled her up and slid into their shoes.
"What Gift do you think we'll get?" You chirped, spinning in circles. "Maybe we'll get powers like the heroes in Tío Bruno's telenovelas!" Camilo struck a dramatic pose before Casita playfully tilted him backwards into his sister's arms, making the two giggle."Whatever Gifts await you, I know they'll be just as special as you, Camilo and (Y/N) Madrigal." Alma promised, as the two of you went to your parents and older sister.
"Mis bebés! You're getting so big." Pepa cooed, as a small rain cloud appeared over her head, as she cuddled Camilo closer to her chest, peppering him in kisses. "Pepita, amorcito, you're going to get them all wet." Fèlix chided, ushering the cloud away before kneeling in front of (Y/N) and hugging her close.
"Aw, look at you, mija! Gorgeous just like tu mamà." He kissed her face multiple times, making (Y/N) squeal in delight due to his facial hair tickling you. Pepa and Fèlix switched twins and did the same treatment.
(Y/N) hugged Pepa tightly, peeking over her shoulder to smile at Dolores who kissed her curls before turning her head slightly.
"Abuela says, it's time." Your parents stood up and grinned excitedly. "We'll be waiting at your doors, mis bebés." Pepa promised before they hurried away.
(Y/N) grinned, waving at them before turning to her brother.
He was looking down with slight fear in his eyes. "Cami?" (Y/N) asked. "(Nickname), I-I'm scared." He admitted. His slightly older sister smiled, cuddling to her brother, gently wrapping a wing over his shoulder. "You're not alone, hermano. I'm right here, and we'll do this together." (Y/N) promised.
Suddenly the curtains opened and a bright light shone in their face. (Y/N) winced softly at the light before looking out at the crowd and turning to Camilo who was shaking like a leaf.
(Y/N) grasped his hand and he looked at her before having what their mamà calls, twin telepathy. 'We got this.' (Y/N) squeezed Camilo's hand three times.
"Vamos, hermana."
They exhaled slowly before walking towards their Abuela.
(Y/N) smiled brightly at her parents before listening to the speech Alma was giving. "Do you swear to use your Gift to strengthen our community?"
The twins nod, before she stepped to the side, allowing them to go to their own doors.
"On three?" (Y/N) asked. "On three." Camilo agreed.
"Uno, dos, tres."
They opened their doors and watched as the doors glowed and magic flowed through their veins, and suddenly there was two (Y/N)'s. "Whoa!" They both exclaimed, when one (Y/N) began glowing a yellow color and she flew around the copy (Y/N).
"Cami! You look like me!" "(Y/N)! You're glowing! And-and I feel crazy excited but I can also see a Pegasus!"
(Y/N) giggled as she continuing to use illusions, making her storybook characters come alive, and her power made everyone in Casita feel ecstatic. Camilo ran around shifting into different people with glee.
"We've got two new Gifts!" Alma cried.
That night, (Y/N) was given the Gift of Illusions and Emotional control and her twin was given the Gift of Shapeshifting.
