(3rd POV)

Finally making her way to her room, (Y/N) sighed in relief, and shut her door. "Finally." She stretched, resting her wings before walking over to her garden, and gently tapped a pattern on her wall and smiled seeing her wall open up to reveal some glowing flower pods resting in various spots.

A fairy glowing the same color as her dress, squealed and flew over to her friend. "Hey, little (favorite animal) fairy! The cuddlings starting to bloom?" The fairy squeaked, sounding like bells, but (Y/N) understood her perfectly.

"Yes, I know, (cute fairy name), cuddlings only bloom when their choosen one needs them. But I can't help it! It's so exciting, they were taking forever to even grow!"

She walked over to the orange color pod, and gently teased the flower with some of her magic.

"C'mon, c'mon, little bud. Antonio needs you." (Y/N) gasped, before holding her hand out as a jaguar themed fairy bloomed out of the pod, yawning, and stretching. It looked at (Y/N) with big brown eyes that reminded her of Antonio. "Hello, little fairy!" It stumbled into her hands, not used to being able to walk yet, falling off its pod.

"Whoa there! Let me help you." (Y/N) cradled it and used her hands to lift the fairy's wings, and wake them up. "There, now try again." She watched as her own fairy took the new fairy's hands and helped it learn to get used to the feeling before it zipped around the room. "Aw, you're doing awesome!" Cheered the ginger as she flew around with it, before grunting feeling something hit her head.

"Ow!" she whined, rubbing her head and looking down to see her alarm clock. Her shutters were opening and closing, letting (Y/N) know, Casita did it. "Really?"

Casita laughed again, causing (Y/N) to laugh as well before she landed and slid over to her mirror to make sure she was presentable before she beckoned the two beings.

Her fairy, (F/N) hid in the red curls and sat atop her lady's head.  (Y/N) made a small box for the jaguar fairy and coaxed it in. "Come on, Toñito needs you."

She walked out her door and shrieked when she heard thunder. "Mami! What's wrong?" (Y/N) led the older ginger with her as they walked towards the curtains where they waited for Antonio. "I'm just nervous, and can't find tu hermano."

"Don't worry, Mamá, knowing him, he's hiding in the nursery. And I'm betting Mirabel is giving him a pep talk. It's okay." (Y/N) gave her mom a hip bump, sending some calming energy to her, and watched in satisfaction as Pepa's cloud faded away.

"Gracias, mi hija." Pepa repayed the favor by kissing over her face again, just to hear her daughter's giggles and protests again.

(With Mirabel)

"Maybe, you should leave the decorations to someone else?" Alma questioned. "No, I actually made these as a surprise for you. Ooh!" She stomped on the handmade gifts with a awkward chuckle. "Mirabel, I know you want to help. But tonight must go perfectly. The whole family relies on our family, our Gifts. So the best way for some of us to help is to step aside. Let the rest of the family do what they do best. Okay?"

Mirabel's lip wobbled but she kept her tears back as her Tia Pepa's storm appeared. "Pepa! You have a cloud!" called Alma. "I know, Mama. But now I can't find Antionio. What do you want from me?" She thundered, stomping away. Mirabel sadly made her way to her room, listening to her mother talk to her grandmother.

"Mama, be nice to Mirabel, okay? You know tonight will be hard for her." Julieta scolded gently. "If the Gift ceremony doesn't go well this time, tonight will be hard for all of us." Alma said sternly. Mirabel closed her door at that before sitting on her bed.

She exhaled softly, and leaned over to her drawer and pulled out a box. She started to play with the bow, as she heard her Tio. "Antonio!" "Everyone's looking for you. This present will self-destruct if you don't take it in 3...2...ooonneeee, oh!" She chuckled softly as the present was snatched from her.

She crawled under the bed, and placed her face in her hand."Nervous?" she asked the child, who placed his face in his arms. "You have nothing to worry about. You're gonna get your Gift and open that door and it's gonna be the coolest ever. I know it." promised Mirabel.

"What if it doesn't work?" whispered Antonio, looking at her with hope in his eyes. "Well, in that impossible scenario, you'd stay here with me in the nursery. FOREVER." she whispered dramatically, making the child giggle. "And I'd get you all to myself." she tickled him.

He looked down, and whispered, "I wish you could have a door." Mirabel frowned slightly before fixing her face. "You know what? You don't have to worry about me. 'Cause I have an amazing house, an amazing family, and an amazing you. And seeing you get your special Gift and your door, that's gonna make me way more happy than anything."

She sighed, resting her head on his tiny shoulder, walking her fingers to drag the present closer to Antionio.

"But alas, I am gonna miss having the world's best roomie." He looked at her curiously, and she pointed to the present with her lips, encouraging tell him to open it. He grinned, pulling out a stuffed jaguar. Mirabel chuckled, as she watched his eyes light up."I know you're an animal guy, and I made this, so when you move into your cool new room, you always have something to snuggle with." The younger Madrigal cuddled closer to her.

The sound of an alarm clock ringing ruined their moment. Mirabel rolled her eyes playfully before giving Antonio a mischevious grin. "All right, hombrecito, you ready?" They started to crawl out before Mirabel cuddled him closer and squeezed him. "Sorry, I gotta get one more squeeze." Casita was growing rather impatient and playfully rolled them out on her own. "Okay, okay, we're going! Ow! Ow!"
