I always smile
A good life, good friends
It's all just good
But don't you understand?
I have learned to hide my feelings
Even from the people closest to me
I don't have a perfect life
I have gone through tough times
I have learned so much
Life is tough
Have faith, hope, and love
I promise it will get better
So just ask
Maybe if you get close enough to me
And if you show me that you truly care
You can see the real me
The me without the smiling mask
The mask I always wear
Because there is so much more to me
Then a smile and brown hair
I seem pretty simple
To the people that don't really care
