The Worlds Of SUPERMARIONATION: The Hatching Horror

Sneak peek of a chapter for an upcoming SUPERMARIONATION crossover from CaptainThunderWho Century 22 Productions; 

We see Joe smiling before using the transition sequence as seen in the series to see stock footage of Joe being brained up in the Rat Trap. The sequence is quick, nevertheless. He is lifted into the Rat Trap as the lights flicker, the BIG RAT activates, the spherical cage begins spinning etc. The theme tune plays, as we see and hear the machinery whizzing and flashing. We zoom towards Joe before then fading to reveal the cottage. The garage opens as the Jet Air Car slowly taxis out down the road and turns to the left. The car then travels down the main road travelling from right to left of the screen. Mac, the driver, and Sam are in the front of the car, with Joe in the backseat.

Mac:

Alright Sam, do you know what this is all about?

Sam:

I'll be honest Mac, I haven't a clue. The Chief said that there was a call from a high ranking source of some kind and told him that he needs him to get his best agent in the picture. He said that we will need the brain pattern of an inventor who is able to create a container that is capable of supporting a form of life. He said to bring all your equipment from your glasses to your suitcase, jetpack, and everything else bar the kitchen sink. None of which seems to make much sense, Mac.

Mac:

Well it's more than what Shane Weston told me.

Joe:

Where are we supposed to be going, Mr Loover?

Sam:

He said to keep driving and then we will have our further instructions given to us on the road.

Mac:

And what are we supposed to do with it, or is that something that hasn't been explained?

Sam:

Got it in one, Mac. This mystery and intrigue unsettles me. Never before have we not known what we are facing. Not I, nor the Chief. I always hated not knowing what I'm supposed to be walking into.

Joe:

Dad, what's that up ahead?

The car heads through a white smoke that lies dead ahead of them. It decelerates as it heads through the smoke.

Sam:

It's not toxic, is it?

Mac:

My car is airtight, Sam. Just some harmless smoke, that's all.

Sam:

Well take it easy, Mac.

Mac:

I'm trying to Sam, but can't make out a thing.

Joe:

What's happening? What's going on?

The strange smoke is inside the car. It rapidly worsens.

Sam:

Professor! It's inside. Get the air conditioning on to get rid of it.

Mac:

I'm trying to, but I can't even make out what's in right front of me.

Sam:

It's your car, you built it. You should know every nut and bolt in it!

Mac:

I'm going to stop the car.

Joe:

Dad, my glasses might let me see in th-

The smoke encompasses everything in camera view.

Mac:

Now look Joe, I'm perfectly capable of handling this situation. I'm the driver, and I'm the one that makes the decisions here.

Sam:

Get us out of here. Take her up, Mac!

Mac:

I'm trying, Sam! I'm trying!

Silence then falls. We are left to see the smoke float for a few seconds before it fades away. Everything remained normal, but the Jet Air Car had gone – vanished into thin air...
