"Oh fuck."
Ryder grabbed my wrist and pulled me up roughly, and when he let go, I just fell back to the floor. I was so screwed.
"What the FUCK are you doing here?!" Ryder was more pissed than anyone I'd ever seen. He turned back to Clover, "Gomes—what did you do to her, you fanged freak-show?!"
"Actually I didn't do anything to her, she broke into my house through her own free will," Clove examined his nails as he walked over. He helped me up while glaring at Ryder.
"It was you, wasn't it?!" Ryder said accusingly.
"You're going to have to be more specific. I've done a lot of things." Clove stretched and looked at Ryder, who was growing more and more annoyed.
"You told her didn't you?!" Clove's mouth twisted into a smile.
"About you and that brown haired chick? Yeah, that was me, did you like my photography?" Clove inquired, "I was the one who comforted her too."
"What do you mean comfort, you prick?!" Clove smile grew wider.
"Just talking," Clover looked to the ceiling and laughed. "Oh yeah, and we fell asleep together!"
My face was flushed by the memory and I looked to the floor.
Ryder growled and turned his attention to me. "I'll ask again, Y/N. What. Are. You. Doing here?!" He yelled and I flinched, shifting backwards.
"I um—well—" I didn't have much to say, the whole situation was making me very uncomfortable.
"She was here to see me."
"I'm not talking to you—I'm talking to my fiancé!"
"Ex-fiancé." Clove corrected.
"Y/N. What are you doing here?!" Ryder stepped closer to me and I stepped back.
"I-I'm here to see Clover. I didn't want to go back to the...the house and Clove gave me a key," I stumbled over my words with my hands moving about in front of me.
"You will stay away from him!" Ryder grabbed my wrist and I winced, trying and failing to pull it back.
"Let go of me!" I struggled more to undo his hold on my wrist, it was starting to hurt, but I couldn't.
"You treat her just like you treated me." Clove grabbed Ryder's arm and tore his hand off of me. I stumbled backwards and examined the red imprint on my wrist. I was starting to wrap my head around the whole supernatural thing. There were marks where his nails were, and they stung badly.
"That was years ago, Gomes." Ryder and Clove were staring each other down.
"What was? Our relationship? Your abuse?" I was genuinely concerned now. Ryder and Clover were exes? Ryder had never told me about this.
"Don't listen to him, Y/N!" Ryder shouted.
"I think you've done enough. Get out of my house." Crazyplayz leaned closer to Ryder.
"I'll be back for you, Rick." Ryder scratched at Clove's arm, Clove stumbled to the ground as Ryder looked at me. I shuffled back and opened the nearest drawer I could find, hoping for something to defend myself with.
I picked up a spoon. It was the first thing I found so I held it out at Ryder and tried to sound brave. "Stay-stay back!"
Ryder looked unamused and stepped closer to me. With my not-so-smart reaction skills, I threw the spoon at him and it hit him in the eye. He cried out in pain and crumbled, and promptly fell out of the broken window that Clove promptly shut with one arm from the floor.
