It was a little before four in the afternoon and Valentina was waiting for Ally to arrive. She had just taken a shower so they could start getting ready quickly. Valentina wanted to have some girl time before they went to the gala. That's why she decided to have dinner together, just them two. The doorbell rang and Valentina went downstairs to let Ally in.

"Hi Ally." Valentina said once she had opened the door.

"Hi Valentina." Ally responded before the two went upstairs.

"Do you need to shower?" Valentina asked once they had entered the guest bedroom.

"I do actually, if you don't mind." Ally replied, timidly.

"Off course not. I'll set out our stuff while you take a shower." Valentina replied to which Ally nodded.

While Ally went into the bathroom to take a shower, Valentina started gathering everything they needed to get ready. She laid out the dresses on her bed. Which were four in total. Then she stashed out all the make up. And to finish it off, she laid out all the jewellery. When everything was laid out, Ally came out in a bathrobe, just like Valentina.

"I'm jealous of your showers." Ally said which caused Valentina to laugh.

"Let's get started!" Valentina said and Ally nodded with excitement.

The girls spent the entire afternoon chatting with each other while getting ready. They got to know each other better and already felt close to each other. The girls decided on similar dresses. Ally wore a deep red dress with thin straps and a v-line. There was a split in the skirt. Valentina wore a deep green dress, also with a v-line and thin straps but the top half was wrapped. She had a split in her skirt as well. They decided on basic make up, both wearing eyeliner that would match their dresses. They had ordered some dinner and enjoyed that while making small talk. Valentina had learned that Ally liked Leo a lot but he didn't seem to be interested. Valentina decided to work on that.

"We should leave now. The limousine is out waiting for us." Valentina said and the girls got up.

They each grabbed a matching clutch for their dresses before going downstairs. Valentina decided to arrive a little later than the other guests. That's why her uncle, aunt, and Leo had already left. Ally didn't mind arriving later. They locked the door before entering the limousine. It wasn't a long ride to the company and they soon arrived at the entrance. In front of the doors was a red carpet laid out. Valentina could sense Ally being nervous.

"Don't worry, I'm right with you. Just pose and smile like you're taking cute pictures with your friends." Valentina said to ease the nerves which fortunately caused Ally to chuckle.

The women stepped out of the car and reporters and photographers pointed their attention towards them. A woman let Valentina onto the red carpet to start taking pictures. There were murmurs all around the carpet about Valentina. She could hear some people point out the resemblance with her parents. She was happy people started to recognise her, it meant the plan was going to work.

"Miss, here!" several photographers yelled at her.

"Are you a Garcìa?" a reporter asked Valentina.

"I'm Valentina Garcìa." she replied before walking inside with Ally.

Upon entering, the whole crowd turned to them. They took in the unfamiliar two women in front of them. Some noticed the resemblance that Valentina shared with her parents but the women ignored it all and made their way over to Valentina's family.

"You both look beautiful." Maggie said to the two women once they stood in front of them.

"Thank you, you look beautiful as well." Valentina complimented.
