This past year had been heaven for Valentina. She had processed so much of her past and she was handling everything well. Today she would meet up with the first client. The first person she would get back into Garcìa Jewellery. To say she was nervous would be an understatement. She was shaking with nerves. But she swallowed them down before walking into the big building in front of her. She was wearing a pencil skirt with a matching blouse and black heels. She walked up to the reception while taking in the beautiful building. She wore her hair in an updo and had sunglasses on.

"Good morning, how may I help you?" the lady at the front desk asked her.

"I have an appointment with Mr. Callister." Valentina replied.

"Alright, what name?" the lady asked before typing away on her screen.

"Ms. VI."

The lady looked weirdly at Valentina. Probably thinking weirdly of the name, but she needed an alias if she was going to make this work.

"Twentieth floor, blue door on your right. Here is your day pass. Mr. Callister should be ready for you." the lady said and Valentina nodded before taking the pass and walking to the elevators.

They were big elevators, showing off the company's success. She remembered Mr. Callister. He was a very nice man, always in for a chat with her or her parents. The ding of the elevator brought her out of her thoughts before stepping out. She took one deep breath before exhaling all her nerves. She walked to the right and found a big blue door. She knocked on the door once she was in front of it before hearing a muffled 'come in'. She slowly opened the door to find Mr. Callister waiting for her in his deskchair.

"You must be Ms. VI. Please take a seat." he said while gesturing to the seat in front of his desk.

Valentina nodded before taking a seat in front of his desk. She put on her best poker face, not showing any of her nerves.

"What is it you wanted to talk about?" he asked her with a serious gaze.

"I would like to propose a deal." she steadily replied.

"What kind of deal?"

"You will restart your partnership with Garcìa Jewellery and get a feature on a line sometime in the next few years." she proposed.

"And who are you to them that would make me listen?" he asked with a curious look on his face.

"Before I reveal my identity I need you to sign this non-disclosure agreement." she said while sliding over the agreement.

"Why do I need to sign this?" he asked while reading through the agreement.

"Because it's for my own safety and part of the plan." she stated.

"Let's say I sign this but still disagree after you've revealed who you are, who says I won't go out into the world telling everyone who you are?" he asked.

"Because I know you will agree. And if for any reason you won't, I have ways to ruin your empire." she told him with confidence.

He looked shocked for a second before going back to reading the agreement. She wasn't actually sure if he would agree but he didn't need to know that. She looked around his office while he read through the agreement. She heard him hum from time to time but no comments so far.

"I'll sign." he said to which she nodded.

He grabbed a pen before he let out a sigh and signed the agreement. After he signed everything, he slid it over to her. She grabbed a pen and signed the agreement as well. She kept the agreement close by her.

"From now on, you will not notify anybody of my identity. Not even your assistant. I'll keep the signed agreement, I can't have proof of me laying around the world. I'll contact you if I ever need to." she said to him with a stern voice to which he nodded.

"Good." she said before taking off her sunglasses and letting down her hair.

She shrugged out her hair a bit before looking up at the man. He looked at her confused for a second before recognition washed over his features.

"Valentina." he breathed out.

"The one and only." she replied.

"Why- How- I-" he tried to talk but couldn't form any words.

"In a few years time, everything will be revealed. I'm just here to ask you if you agree with the deal." she said.

"I- Yes, I agree." he said and she smiled before getting out another contract.

She slid it across his desk to him. He signed again and so did she. She took the agreement and the contract before putting them in her bag. They exchanged a few words before she got up and left, her sunglasses back on and her hair back up. She walked out of the building with confidence. She already got one client. That's huge news. She entered her car when her phone rang.

"Hello." she said once she had answered.

"It's me." a voice said, she immediately recognised it to be Rafael's.

"Ah hello, partner." she said with a cheeky smile.

"I'm not your partner." he grumbled out.

"But you kind of are. Doesn't matter, to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I wanted to see if he signed the agreement and the contract. If everything went smoothly, you know."  he replied.

"It went great. He signed both and we chatted a little after. He was always one for a chat, even when I was younger. He promised not to tell anyone and he obviously has the NDA keeping him quiet."

"That's good to hear. Where are you heading off to now?"

"I was about to go back to the plane to catch to go back home. I mean I finished everything I had to." she said while shuffling through her bag, looking for a snack.

"Right. Well, let me know when and where the next one is so I can prepare everything."

"Deal. Talk soon." she said and he mumbled a 'bye' before they hung up.

She put her phone down before starting her car. She was going to go back home for a week before going to another old client. She had quite a list to go through but it couldn't look suspicious, which is why she had to have a few weeks between clients after these two.
