Ashes to ashes Dust to Dust

Chapter 1

After thousands upon thousands of resets. The human had continued their genocide. They only had 3 pacifist routes but the rest were nothing but hell. However after each reset everyone would forget what happened well all except for one person and that person was the comedic skeleton known as Sans.

Sans is a very lazy monster but despite his laziness he is one of if not the strongest monster in the underground. After the first reset he was confused as to what was happening but he shook it off as a dream. He fought the human multiple times but over time they started to successfully beat him without taking any damage. Sans now started to understand that all those "dreams" were real. Everytime the human would somehow reset the world and start a new genocide route every single time. But the worst part for sans was seeing his brother die countless times. Now with new knowledge of what was happening Sans had decided to start giving it his all. Not holding back as single bit.

He had fought the human with so much power and speed. To the point where he was almost invisible. But even when he was giving it his all the human had still managed to beat him.

And after his defeat the human had started a new genocide route once more. Sans had tried many different ways to defeat the human but all his attempts were futile. After every reset Sans started to slowly lose his sanity. He started becoming very desperate he wanted to end all his and the other monsters pain. So he started his own genocide route. At first he did not want to do this but after finding out he had no other choice he had to go along with it. The first monster to go was the queen of the underground Toriel. When she went to visit him as usual sans took this opportunity to end her. Then next were the monsters in the forest. Then came his friends undyne,Alphys,Mettaton and grillby. But none of those deaths were as hard as his brother's. He cared alot for his brother he took care of him since they were kids and he watched him grow up. So when he had to he was the very hesitant. But a voice in his head told him to do it since it would be better than letting the human kill him. Sans had started attacking his brother. His brother pleaded with him but Sans was too focused on defeating the human so he took his brother's life. However this was enough to finally make him snap. Sans fell to his knees and he started laughing while also crying.

Sans had now gone completely crazy. He had become very powerful and he also gained the abilities of the monsters he beat. But his craziness also created a new imaginary papyrus. Papyrus had told him that it was not his fault but infact the human's. Sans had grown to hate the human even more. He no longer wanted to bring her to justice now all he wanted now was vengeance. There was no way he would ever want to bring a demon lie that to justice. It would Only cause even more harm. So the best solution was to get rid of it permanently.

Sans was now in the middle of the judgement hall. Waiting for the human like usual. When they showed up Sans had wasted no time and he started attacking. He was way more powerful and had way more health while the human had very little. But despite all of this however Sans still lost. He didn't understand why all that hard work gone for nothing he killed his brother. All for nothing but in his final moments of life he had remembered someone and the next time a new route would start he would make sure to find that person. The new route had started and like last time Sans had to forcefully kill his friends once more but it was even worse the second time. But instead of going to the judgement hall he went somewhere else. He saw a door and he opened it once he walked inside he saw the person he was looking for. His father.

Sans was beyond shocked when he saw his father. He like most people thought he was dead when he fell into the core. But Gaster had explained what had happened. Yes he fell into the core but he didn't die. He became a prisoner in an empty void with no way to escape. He was able to watch but unable to intervene however when he saw the state that Sans is in currently he knew he had to try making contact with him and it was successful. Gaster had told him that he found a way to beat the human and stop them from doing another genocide route but he wanted Sans to trust him fully. Sans who was now desperate to stop the resets agreed. He's father smiled before giving him some gifts before he disappeared. The things Gaster gave Sans would be more than enough to stop the human. Now Sans will finally have his vengeance.

Sans went into the judgement hall and he waited for the human. Once the human arrived Sans hadn't wasted anytime talking. This time his main goal was to put an end to this once and for all. Sans had started an onslaught of attacks that would murder the human in horrible was but the human would come back like always which would just fuel Sans vengeful soul even more. Sans had become unbeatable once again and after killing the human for hours. The human had started becoming tired.
Gaster took this chance to appear and he had killed the human. He then disappeared once again but this time he was on the save screen. He reset the game before destroying the reset button. Now everything would go back to normal for Sans. That is what he thinks anyways.
