Chapter 5

(The skeleton brothers residence)
In the home of the two skeleton brothers. Sans was asleep while Phantom papyrus was watching the tv. Regular papyrus however seemed to be very busy. He was like that the whole day but Sans just brushed it off as he's brother just being him.

Papyrus:"Sans"

Sans:"Yeah bro?"

Sans says with his eyes still closed.

Papyrus:"Which one of these do you think the human would like most?"

He says showing him a heart shaped box and another regular decorated box.

Sans:"Why do you want to know what
The human likes?"

Papyrus:"Sans don't tell me you forgot!"

Sans was confused.

Sans:"Forgot what?"

Papyrus:"I literally told you this morning!"

Papyrus sighs.

Papyrus:"Today is the human's birthday"

Sans was surprised.

Sans:"She has one of those?"

Papyrus:"Of course she does. The queen has invited both of us to attend her birthday"

Sans:"Huh I didn't know.... I'll pass"

Papyrus:"Splendid. Wait what?"

Sans:"I'll pass paps. I'm not going to her birthday"

Papyrus:"But the human would be heartbroken. She and the queen are the only people who like your terrible jokes"

Sans:"You don't like my jokes. Well I must say that "hearts" my feelings"

Sans starts laughing while both of the Papyrus groan. Papyrus then throws the heart shaped box at Sans.

Papyrus:"Well if you aren't gonna do it for the human then do it for me brother"

Sans looks at his brother for a couple of seconds before responding.

Sans:"Fine but I won't talk to the human!"

Papyrus:"Splendid!"

Papyrus runs into his bedroom leaving Sans alone.

Phantom P:"Why did you agree to go?"

Sans:"I can't say no to you bro"

Phantom P:"Well you should learn how to. The human might Stab you in the back when you least expect it"

Sans:"Then I'll make sure to be alert"

Papyrus:"I'm ready let's go!"

The two brothers walk out of their house and to where the party is taking place. When they arrived alot of their friends and some other people were there. Both monsters and humans were having a fun time.

Toriel:"Sans you made it"

Toriel says with a smile.

Sans:"Well I couldn't just sit home all alone. I'd be very bonely"

Toriel starts giggling.

Papyrus:"I'm leaving!"

Sans:"Stay safe bro"

Toriel:"I was worried you didn't receive the letter I had sent. You but I'm glad you came"

Sans:"Wouldn't miss it"

Sans hands her the box.

Sans:"This is for Frisk"

Toriel:"Oh I'll make sure she receives this. You know she's been talking about you alot"
