Chapter 23: Faker

(The surface)
A huge number of humans were protesting infront of the president's house. These people were sick and tired of having to live with monsters and so they had decided to protest. They would not stop until every monster is gone. Which brings us to Undyne and Dust who were sitting on top of a tower watching this unfold.

Dust:"I guess I know why cops like to leave for work early"

Undyne looks at Dust questionably.

Undyne:"Why do they like doing that?"

Dust:"So they can beat the crowd"

On que a large number of police start to flood the streets and the protesting quickly turned to people retreating.

Dust:"Haha. This is my favorite part"

Dust says sleeping on the tower.

Undyne:"Sans. We need to put an end to this. Ever since we came to the surface this would happen once a month"

Dust:"I guess your right. So what do you suggest we do?"

Undyne:"I don't have an idea yet"

Dust:"I've got one"

Undyne:"You do?"

Undyne turns to Dust looking at him in surprise. Did this lazy bones actually come up with a plan.

Dust:"It's a pretty straight forward and simple plan. How about we wait for another riot to start and once it does. We simply kill all of the humans involved"

Undyne:"What?!"

Dust starts to laugh.

Dust:"I'm just kidding... Or am I?"

Dust shakes his head and he stands up.

Dust:"How bout we do this instead. We send our former queen and King to talk to them about this whole situation. We have been on the surface for an entire year now so they must at least know each other"

Undyne nods after Dust finishes talking.

Undyne:"That's actually not a bad idea. Sans you're a genius!"

Dust:"Yeah I get called that alot"

Undyne snorts.

Undyne:"People calling you a genius?"

Dust:"No. People calling me Sans"

Undyne puts her fingers on where her nose bridge would have been. She looks at the riot below.

Undyne:"But they're number has doubled. There wasn't this many last time"

Dust:"There are some of us who can't control out magic perfectly. So maybe an accident happened and they think it was done on purpose"

Undyne:"Could be. Involving this situation though I'll take care of the king and queen situation. You handle the whole calming monsters situation. Alright?"

Dust:"Yes ma'am"

Undyne summons her armor.

Undyne:"I'm counting on you Sans!"

She screams jumping down from the roof. Dust hears a loud thud followed by heavy footsteps. This reminds him of the underground. But the past is in the past. Now he has to move forward.

Chara:"So where are we heading Sansy?"

Dust:"Sometimes I forget you exist"

Chara:"That hurts my feelings. We're such good friends. You can't say such words to me"
