Viktor's POV

It has been a few weeks since I was fired for basically doing my job. My job was to protect Karine from any and all harm. Now I'm worried shïtless about her being in that house alone with Igor. I knew what kind of man he was when he hired me several years ago but I never knew how extreme he would be til he nearly struck Karine for a second time. I wasn't going to allow it. She has been sending brief messages telling me she's okay but I need to see she's okay for myself. So I did what I did.

I called in help. I called my cousin, Giorgio who had a meeting with Igor about his drug selling on the streets, which he never had permission to do so. When I explained to Giorgio what the problem was, he was game to get her out the house once and for all. Meaning that he was going to schedule a raid on the house and we would search and find any and all details on Igor to put him away for a long time. This would stop him from his drugs being on the streets anymore. But we're scared.

~Giorgio~ Vik something isn't adding up
~Viktor~ Like what?
~Giorgio~ The boys he was using aren't out there anymore. I made an anonymous call to the police for them being underage which they were and they are all in jail but how the hell are they still bringing in money?
~Viktor~ Has to be someone inside. I know it's not Karine. Karine hates what her father is doing. She would never do it and go against someone who owns the turf.
~Giorgio~ Her name is Karine?
~Viktor~yeah why?
~Giorgio~ It may not be the same person but I over heard Sofia talking to someone about a Karine. She deleted her call log afterwards when I checked her phone.
~Viktor~ Shittt you don't think she would have anything to do with this would she?
~Giorgio~ I don't know Viktor.
~Viktor~ Does she have any idea we are related do you?
~Giorgio~ Nope we need to do the raid and do it soon. It's the only way to get her out safely.
~Viktor~Truth. I'm gonna do a drive by the house and take pictures. We need to do the raid soon. I don't know how much more she's going to take.
~Giorgio~ Keep me posted. Sofia is out getting her nails down at South Street. Drive past there and see if she's there alone, with girls or a man...
~Viktor~ I got you brother. If you figure out when you want to do the raid, let me know to let Karine know.
~Giorgio~ got you be safe too.

I walk out of his office and into my truck. I just hope she's safe. I have another motive behind why I want Giorgio raiding the house. I believe Karine and Giorgio are perfect for each other. Karine is a spitfire woman and doesn't tolerate any kind of wrong doing and the only reason she tolerates her father is because she's terrified of him. She's told me this on more than one occasion. She needs to be with the right man to bring out the best in her, he'll be able to do just that.

I drive past the nail salon and I see Sofia talking to a man, whoever he is doesn't know what kind of war she is about to unleash. I snap the picture and send it to Giorgio. He tells me thanks. I drive to Karine's place and I see her sitting in her room at the window. I text her and she looks down and smiles a small small and looks away. I text her again and tell her she will be out sooner than later. She's going to be okay, at least I hope to God she is going to be okay...

When I get back to the house and about to walk inside, I see Sofia get out the car. She kisses whoever on the cheek. I rush inside and tell Giorgio what I saw.

~Giorgio~ Did you see what this person looked like?
~Viktor~ No I wish I did....

In walks Sofia. She rolls her eyes with me.

~Sofia~ Hey baby!
~Giorgio~ Yes Sofia. I'm kind of busy here.
~Sofia~ Your always too busy for me. We aren't ever intimate together....
~Giorgio~ It feels like you are hiding shït from me. Let me just say this, if I find out you are involved with the drug issue among my streets, I will notify the police and you will be arrested.
~Sofia~ Why would I damage your streets?
~Viktor~ Hey where you with your dad earlier? I thought I saw him and I wanted to say hello, but I wasn't sure...
~Sofia~ No I was with my girls getting my nails done....

Gio and I both share a look. A look that we both know the true meaning of. We both know she is hiding something deep.

~Giorgio~ While I'm thinking about it, I have to go out of town in two days to collect payment of debts owed, I won't be back for several days possibly, I'll leave a couple thousand in cash for you...
~Sofia~ I could of taken the card, you know that black platinum one...
~Giorgio~ I had issues with that one from the company and they are sending a new one out but it won't be here til next Thursday.
~Sofia~ oh okay well we will have time together right? When you return home? Is Viktor going with you?
~Giorgio~ Yes he's going with me. (Sofia leaves the office). Now I want to leave after her in two days. I'm pretty sure she's going to Igor's house. I want to catch her in the act there. After all Igor owes up thousands and thousands of money. This will give us time to break Karine out of the house. No if you could set trackers on her car I would appreciate it.
~Viktor~ I got you brother!

I place 4 trackers on her car, all where she wouldn't be able to find them. She isn't that smart to find when like that.

We finish going over details and I message Karine and tell her if she hears a female voice it's Sofia because Sofia is sleeping with her father as well and is behind this whole drug war issue. She thanks me and tells me she is beginning to pack what she wants to bring with her. She's beyond scared her father will suspect something. Little does anyone know we will know when Sofia arrives. Thankfully he doesn't live far away from us.

Soon she will be rescued and safe from harm. Let's hope she opens her heart to Giorgio. What can I say, I'm a matchmaker.
