Karine's POV

So the day after I was rescued once again from my father's house when he, Sofia and Aksana were all arrested for countless charges, I told the guys I would talk to them but as I was in the kitchen, the police called Giorgio and he had to go down and give them my old laptop. I didn't give two shits if they kept it and Viktor told him this too. It had all the recordings of my father's shït dealing with drugs illegally and having sèx with whöres. I warned my father that I would get him back for it all and I did. By the time Giorgio got back home that day, I was exhausted and wasn't in the mood for what I felt like was going to be a screaming match. Viktor apologized to me over and over again. I had told him that when they felt like my father was going to take me by using a guard he sent here to keep me safe but he was a dirty Mudak then that is when I should of been warned. They aren't quiet talkers when it comes down to it. I heard it all and decided to do my own recon. Never fück with a pissed off woman because she simply doesn't give a damn.

I knew I needed to have a tracking device on Dimitri and he wasn't wise I had it planted on him. I had left my laptop open under the bed so when the guys came to see I was in taken from the house and by whom, they knew where to find me and that they did. My father and his merry band of misfits are spending time in jail over here and then they will be sent back to Russia as their citizenship cards have been revoked. They tried taking mine but they couldn't as I did nothing wrong. I have been a USA citizen for over 15 years. I follow the law and my father wanted me to suffer at his hands. But now it's been two weeks since that all was handled. I have been giving Giorgio the silent treatment and to be honest I forgave him weeks ago. Part of me wishes he would push me against the wall and kiss me. But he hasn't. I don't know how much more I can take because the tension between him and I is strong as hell. So if he wants to play. We can play!

Giorgio's POV

Everything went down two weeks ago and Karine was safe and sound. Her father and his crew are having their citizenship revoked because they broke major rules by not cutting ties with Russia. They were allowed to visit Russia but they were doing drug trades between the USA and Russia. Major issues with that and the government. The day after Karine was rescued I spent the whole day getting the evidence to the police to keep them away from us for good. But that has been well over two weeks ago. Two long miserable weeks without even speaking a word to her. Well she's giving me the silent treatment for keeping her out of the loop, but that's what I deserve. When we go out shopping, she comes with us. She doesn't trust the guards because of Dimitri kidnapping her and we don't blame her for it either. But we know she's safe. She'll talk to me when she's ready. I refuse to break the trust with her again. I'll do absolutely anything to regain it again from her. I need her.

As I'm in the office finishing up a gun order check over, Viktor walks inside the office.

~Viktor~ What's going on with you? Your moping and you never mope!
~Giorgio~ What do you mean?
~Viktor~ Mister I'm miserable not talking to her.
~Giorgio~ I'm giving her space...
~Viktor~ You two are.... The tension is strong between y'all....
~ Giorgio~ What. Tension?
~Viktor~ The sexual tension
~Giorgio~ She isn't attracted to me that way...
~Viktor~ Bullshit. I heard her mumbling under her breathe and she said.....
~Giorgio~ What did she say?
~Viktor~ I wish he would push me against the wall and kiss me like he means it.

Well shit. If that's what she wants....

~Giorgio~ No she didn't
~Viktor~ Fine don't believe me.

He turns around and walks back towards the kitchen. I turn around and walk out of the office. I see Karine in the kitchen.  She finishes up lunch and we sit down only to see Giorgio walking out the office with his shirt off wearing sweatpants only.

Karine's eyes bug out big. Game on babygirl!
