Reading About Gods

You were fast asleep after a while, and the next morning, you woke up alone. You assumed that Dream was just in the shower or going on a walk. After looking around and knocking on the bathroom door, you realized that he almost definitely was not in the house. You shivered as you walked outside.

It was cold, and you were alone, searching for Dream. He wouldn't go off with Eryn without telling you, would he? You sighed after walking around the forest for a bit. Dream had to be off somewhere. You sat down on a log in the woods, and you pulled out your god book. You hadn't even gotten a chance to look at it yet.

"I wonder if there is anything in here," You wondered out loud.

You flipped through the pages curiously. There seemed to be drawings and sketches of different god-like characters. Some words that you knew were written here and there, but a lot of the writing inside of the book was a different language. And this was a language that you had never seen before in any studies.

Some of your friends have showed you their languages of choice, and it looked nothing alike to this. This language was a mix of weird letters and symbols. It puzzled you, but you started to become more focused on the sketches. You didn't know what most of them were, but they looked like different gods.

Some of the sketches had wings, masks, horns, and many other unsual things. And as you flipped through pages, you came to a sketch of two people that looked like Philza and his wife, Kristin. 

Phil is the Angel of Death, pretty much the god of death. Kristin is the Goddess of Death. It's the reason why they can visit the death realm, and the reason why they have wings. This pageis full of things about them... 

It was clearly them in the sketches, and you were certain once you looked closer. You marked the page. You couldn't read anything, but you were wondering if there was any more of gods you knew...

You came across a page with XD on it. But all of the words were in your language. It said some things such as, "DreamXD has counterparts, but he is one of the supreme gods. He has the power to control all different forms of elements and he has many other gifts. He can claim demi-gods and humans. His god form is very powerful, where his calmer form is a tall man with a mask that says XD, and he also has wings poking out of his green cloak."

There was even more than that, but there was a lot to read right now. Why could you only read XD's page, but no one else's? You marked the page and continued to flip through the book. This wasn't any normal god book. It provided the stories and powers of every god. Did Dream's contain this?

When you owned Sapnap's current god book, you saw some god messages and rules, but the whole book was mostly just for room to write down names of people you want dead. There was a lot of room...

Sapnap could kill everyone if he wanted to. The idea of that haunted you.

And on the next page, you saw a drawing of a goddess. You could also read this one... Her name appeared to be Niamh. There was no last name provided. She was a beautiful looking woman. In the drawing she had long silky black hair, and she wore a long gown. Niamh had angel-like wings with a halo like crown above her head. But she also had little devil horns and demon accessories. Her skin was darker, and her skin matched her deep brown eyes.

She seemed to be the balance between life and death, or the balance between good and evil. You weren't sure how to feel about her. XD had never really mentioned any of the gods or goddesses other than Philza and Kristin. So, this made you intrested. And as you read on about Niamh, she seemed to have the powers of this book.

But as you read further down the page, some of her powers seemed different. Yes, she could travel between life and death, but she seemed to have some more powers than that. And she seemed to have a curse too. You marked her page to be stand out more, because you really needed to study Niamh's pages more.

But as you flipped to read about the next god, you found nothing. There were more words, but there was no other gods to read about. Niamh was the last one... You flipped back to her page, and it seemed to be glowing. You noticed that a book was drawn next to her. It looked almost identical to yours.

There was only one way to find an answer to all of this. And that was to talk with XD...

You looked at the table of contents, and flipped to the page that explained how to summon a god. You would have to use this.
