3rd person POV:

"MERLIN!"

"and that is my cue to leave, I will talk to you two later and congrats, you guys look great together." Merlin smiled and looked at Gwen and Morgana.

"You know he secretly likes you to-" before
Merlin can hear what Morgana said, he left towards Arthur's chambers.

Once Merlin took a deep breath he stepped into his chambers

"What is it Arthu-"

"Pack bags for two days travel, gather food and get the horses ready, we need to leave soon." Arthur said looking at his papers.

Merlin raised his eyebrow. He seemed to be finding something.

"Is everything alright Arthur? You seem tense-"

"Yes everything is perfectly sound, now hurry up we will need to leave soon."

"You have already said that Prat- you haven't mentioned at all what the problem is."

"The Problem is that you aren't getting our things ready idiot, go now."

Merlin, a bit offended rolled his eyes once again and left the room mumbling

"Who does that prat think he is? The king of the world!? He may be king of Camelot but his ego is bigger than Camelot and the whole world it self." He grumbled and went to get his stuff ready.

Merlin got everything ready in 20 minutes and Arthur came to the stables five minutes later.

"Is everything ready for our travels?"

"Yes clotpole-"

Arthur ignored the name calling and got onto his horse with Merlins help. (More like Merlin was a stood and he stepped on him to get up.) Merlin got onto his horse and while he was doing so Arthur had already left the stables. Rolling his eyes,  Merlin followed Arther into the forest.

They were quiet for about 45 minutes before Merlin was tired of not knowing where they were going.

"Alright what are we doing in the middle of the woods?"

"I don't have to answer to you-"

"And before you say anything- I need to know what we are looking for before it or they come after us."

"Fine. We are looking for some bandits that have been hurting the villages for a while."

"Okay why are we out here, you are the king you have many knights that will help.-"

"Yes well those knights aren't doing the job I gave them. They told me that I needed to go myself. So here I am with you."

"Wow your ego must have deflated when that happened. I wish I was there."

"Shut up."

"Not in my blood."

Arthur rolls his eyes. He immediately looked around just making sure that they are alone. Merlin also looked around.
